So what if some members dont show up to the Grand Final, its still sold out. For example if GWS played the Gold Coast the crowd would probably be only 95,000 cause a lot of members won show up because they wont care, but It is still sold out.
At the Rugby League the other night you could still get ...

Re: Australias Greatest Sporting Event!
State of Origin didn't even sell out. I went to the game & there was a lot of empty seats.
Imagine the AFL Grand Final not selling out!!? It just wouldn't happen even if GWS played Gold Coast

I live in Brisbane & the only time I see any sporting jerseys is when there is a origin game on, then you see quite a few people wearing that through the city.

Re: The fans have spoken — we’re sick of Origin
Look I like origin I genuinely do but if Queensland keep winning its going to lose its appeal very quickly. I am starting to eel sorry for you guys because I think its pretty safe to say if Rugby League loses origin then its pretty much dead. OUCH!!

Re: The fans have spoken — we’re sick of Origin
There is no way game 3 will sell out. Even the brain washed rugby league fans will agree with that.
I mean game 1 barely sold out when the series was 0-0.
I want Queensland just to keep winning & winning cause it is killing your precious rugby league showpiece event. I am from Queensland & even ...

Re: There At It Again !
I think this just shows what a great code the AFL is for trying to find this fan & punish him/her.
If it was the NRL they would probably just sweep it under the carpet & hope it goes away.
Once again well done AFL, leading the way tackling racism

Re: KE Reprting live from the U S of A
In AFL a person kicks the ball to a guy to catch it (we say mark) & a defender tries to spoil it.
In American Football a quarterback tries to throw the ball to a guy to catch it & a defender tries to spoil it.
That is very similar to AFL & the part that makes American Football exciting & something ...

Re: KE Reprting live from the U S of A
80-90% of people follow AFL in VIC, SA, WA, TAS & NT.
I would say 10-20% of people follow it in NSW while QLD would be about 20-25% & finally ACT which I have heard AFL is pretty popular so i would say about 30-40% follow it there.
Thats most of the country buddy!
Rugby League on the other hand ...

Re: KE Reprting live from the U S of A
King u should tell all the Yanks that we have a sport of our own (exactly the way they do with Gridiron) which is loved by most of the country just like American Football is over there where we got massive crowds of 80,000 + to some games & average 35,000.
I am pretty sure they will be more ...
