Yeah - labour voter all my life but can’t vote for a Miles government - hoping a Teal option presents.
Decision has been widely panned. Clearly not thought out and reactionary. And to be clear - very few seeing it as an AFL /NRL thing. It’s simply just a very poor decision.

I don't think there is a small amount of support in SEQ - RL is still the dominant code but aussie rules go way back in QLD history - particularly in the South East - hence there have been many players go on to play at the elite level going back prior to AFL having a team here. The Courier Mail is an Rugby League paper so I am not sure how the AFL can pay them off when Rugby League basically runs the whole sports section of the paper, a lot like the Herald Sun for AFL in Melbourne.
