Re: AFL Opening Round in NSW and QLD

I suspect, having had a decent win, there will be a decent crowd at the Suns next week - playing StKilda - not a big travelling team and not a huge supporter base like Richmond.

Re: Footy TV Ratings - 2024

Its a story youll see a lot of this year - in general more people watch AFL for at least a minute of a broadcast than watch the NRL for at least a minute of the broadcast, which is why the AFL folks are overjoyed because it finally gives some vindication to assertions they've been making for years ...

Re: zero round continues to be lambasted internally

AFL stakeholders who are not code fanboys , koolaid sippers & won't cop the rubbish excuses from the AFL as to why the draw has been seriously compromised for a very flat & unconvincing result

was it worth it ?

Re: Footy Crowds - 2024

Poor crowd for the giants….agree.

Pink concert on at Accor Stadium and crap opposition who have very few fans anywhere. Still tough going for the Giants.

Ticket prices ridiculous as well.

Re: Footy Crowds - 2024

what a sad pathetic tiny little sport

Yes its almost like the Swans arent the biggest draw in Sydney on any given weekend they play at home.
And the Lions hold their own against the Broncos lately.

And lets not even get into Perth and Adelaide where your sport may as well not exist ...

Re: Footy Crowds - 2024

Come on sook master. You know I’m right. Fumbling crowds are an outlier in world sport. Citing them and ranting that the fumbling Swans are Sydney towns most popular team doesn’t work pal.

I know you’re struggling since your raison d’être has been extinguished but please try to remain calm ...
