As for debt how about you provide the link ?
Why don't you state NRL club debts (Titans 35 mil, Penrith 43 mil etc etc)?

And where is this link to the projected 200 mil by 2017 - no where is this prediction made - the only one who does is just you!

The AFL is providing 34 mil in bank guarentees not 35 mil
http://m.theaustralian.com.au/sport/AFL ... 6822011769#
I notice you didn't talk about NRL clubs like Newcastle and their 20 mil bank guarentee
http://www.theherald.com.au/story/20574 ... r-knights/

We wouldn't know how many other NRL clubs are in the same position but we no only two recorded profits
In recent years Newcastle, Wests Tigers, Souths, Penrith, Cronulla, Gold Coast and Melbourne have faced financial difficulties that threatened their existence. On each occasion new funds, a revamped ownership structure or, in Penrith's case, an administrative structure, were put in place to secure survival.

These are the figures that count, especially the total revenue and non broadcast revenue. Notice the AFL earned more from broadcasting and media too.

AFL clubs can afford debt because they have enough income above football operations to cover it.

Can you show me how much the NRL clubs are in debt?

Prove your claim about NRL clubs

clubs like Hawthorn Essendon and Collingwood have substantial debt due to major funding for facilities. There's absolutely nothing wrong with debt, as long as it can be managed.
