So, that'd be about 536k of legit participants. Add in touch footy and RL crushes AFL mate. Oh and the added disincentive of mum's less inclined to let their kids play RL

And like i've said many times, most union kids play it through school because it's all thats offered and follow league far more than union. but i won't include that obviously, as many also follow union.
the Touch and Tag isnt even rugby, its a sport people merely play for fitness and social reasons.

thats BS, & you league fans reckon the AFL makes up figures.

what is bs? that union junior players often follow league? lol no it's not mate, you can live in your deluded world but i met a tonne of those 'preppy private school kids' at uni who all played union as kids because their schools were great union schools (most of whom get snatched up by RL anyway) and they could barely name the halves combo for the wallabies. 'Quade and.... ummm...someone.' But they sure as hell know the spine of their team, usually the roosters or maybe souths/dogs.

i've played a bit of touch 'competitively', and yea i did play it for fitness, social reasons and to have fun. Isn't that what amateur sport is about???

mate i played it in central queensland for fitness & beers after woods, most of the guys had less of an interest than me.
many union guys do not follow league as most of them hate it. its half & half.

Hearing Tina Turner on the radio singing "Your simply the best"! I guess they would include this as a RL experience as She was the best part of league - heaven knows it wasn't the hand ball!
