meanwhile poort pennyless
can barely afford loo paper in its office toilets
I somehow think poort wheresmedough will struggle to see out this current TV deal
RIP Poweroutage

Why does the football dept have such a small budget? Why don't they care about them? Is it because they know the actual football team isn't worth the investment? I guess no one would want to pour money into a club that makes a $200k loss on a $10m tiny budget.

the Raiders have made the finals 8 times in the last 15 years
their football dept gets results , making the Football budget irrelevant because the company's overall bottom line is so very healthy .... if ever there was a decline in football revenue it can be easily covered ... no sponsor
no problem
no TV exposure
no problem
many other clubs in both codes cannot claim the same security
all their eggs in the one basket
like poor ol poort shitzhispants ..... their football dept is a dogs breakfast
spends too much
earns too little
no back ups
& this equals
gooonnnneeeeeeeeeeeeee....................................

If they poured a few million more into it, maybe they would get some real success. [/quote]
so the amount poort powerfailure pour into their club dickhead ... that much more ?
&
we'd be broke like poort poweroutage
& also
have no real success like poort lightacandle
no thanks
we'd rather be building to a premiership & be wealthy too

, instead of heading down the toilet S bend like yr mob

The amount that Port invest into their football dept is much less than the comp average. This is what happens when you have greedy owners creating a shit stadium deal that rips off the club. According to you, the Raiders are one of the richest clubs around (

) so surely they would be able to have a larger football budget, right? Or do venue and property interests come first? What a shit stain club those Raiders are

why do we need to compete with the size of our spend in our football dept
in the NRL ... its the quality of your roster & the people behind it
not the amount you spend
example ... the 2 lowest football Dept Budgets in the NRL ( Raiders & Sharks .. both will spend 15 Million in 2013 )
are both tipped to have huge years on field
& easily out perform the biggest football dept spend in the NRL .. the Broncos (38M )
if this happens ... that will be extraordinary & an amazing result
but something that just doesn't ... in fact .. can't happen in the VFL
its the size of your spend in the VFL ... the haves always ahead of the have nots on the field..only because they spend more
hence clubs like poort geezwhatsmells .. will probably never get ahead & die a natural death through insolvency
& good riddance too .. its obviously run by utter fuckwits
in the NRL
this is not often the case ...........
more is not always gunna get you ..... more
NRL .. its just a better comp people

So you're saying increased football dept spending has no impact?
The PAFC in 2011 was the club with the lowest amount of football dept expedniture. It was so low that the necessary support staff such as assistant coaches and line coaches were not there. To add to all of thos. there was an incompetent coach in charge, so I agree with you that it wasn't run well but that's largely due to the fact that expenditure was so low.
In 2012 the club still had a low football dept exp, but it was increased through added funding from the AFL (which the Crows received as well because of the $NAFL's poor business model). The amount of staff working for Primus increased, and on field performances also improved but were still very below average ending with the sacking of the coach ( =D> ).
2013 should be the final year we are in the bottom 4 for total football dept exp, with the Adelaide Oval move increasing the clubs revenue and with that performances will improve.
