The police will not arrest any players for illicit drug use when use is rife in the community  so that leaves PEDs and organised crime. The NRL will be the main event in these areas
Hey for all we know the supply to the players could be concentrated and taking out the dealers would take out not just the suppliers to the sport but to the community as well! What - you support illicit drugs in the community? You bastard!

As for you, Chappelli, go back to cricket where you belong. League is number one in Papua New Guinea and a strong number 2 in both Australia and New Zealand. Yeah I admit we're behind the AFL across the nation, but we can bridge that gap once those fuck wits on Nine start showed NRL at a decent time in Victoria, SA and WA!

where did you ascertain I support community drug use?

My point is why would the government spend hundreds of thousand determining some AFL players use illicit drugs when the AFL already know and are tackling the issue. If the ACC wish to tackle illicit drug use just send the cops to the local night club.

So the ACC claimed the report was not meant to directly generate arrests but you claim different? How the f would you know better than the ACC?

How would YOU know better? You don't because you support illicit drugs in community by stating that there won't be any arrests for it's use in sport just because it's rife in the community? I've got a better idea than that. RIP THE WHOLE TRADE TO BITS! Are you against that or not?

Reality check, duffle breath. The ACC had no idea how bad the problem was when they started their investigation. That's why the original mandate of not meaning to generate arrests. That sure changed when they saw just how bad the problem is!

I don't support illicit drug use you dope! The AFL care far more about illicit drug use than the the law or the police! When was the last time you got tested for drug use at home, or on holidays? Drug use is rife in the community, yet used by a tiny minority in the AFL, and all because AFL players are far more stringently tested than almost every other human!

Oh what a lot of crap, X! If they were tested that stringently where's the line going out the door of the AFL clubs? NOWHERE!!!! Seven clubs out of 18 is NOT a tiny minority! It's nearly half the freaking comp! Admit it! The AFL have fucked up and here you are defending the indefensible! At least I have the sense to not defend the NRL on this and never have because I know we're in trouble as well. But only six of our clubs are in the line of fire! You? You're running around even more than a chook with it's head cut off!

You want to show me you don't support illicit drugs in sport? Right. Stop defending your precious comp and jump on them for not doing enough. Then I'll believe you.

6 from 16 NRL clubs! we have 2 more clubs! [-X so we are better off. Furthermore, ACC said at risk, not proven, nor did they suggest more than a single player at each club was involved. So you can F off with the "half your comp" shit! [-(

The AFLs testing numbers and results are published for all to see. Furthermore, ASADA run the entire testing program and they themselves determine the testing numbers according to their own policy. Who better to run your testing than ASADA?

But if you want to talk bout head in the sand, youre the prime example. You somehow think there will be no experimentation of illicit drugs from nearly 800 young men, when the same number of non AFL playing young males would probably have a few hundred dabbling in drugs. The truth is some will try it no matter what the threat of punishment. There will never be a zero result, especially while drugs are so prevalent in society.

So all your spouting is just rubbish. Australia has some of the harshest illicit drugs policies in world sport. The ACC report primarily targeted PEDs and crime. That's the story and the media and social media agree.

6/16 = 0.375
7/18 = 0.388

Who's better off again?

And vulnerable/risk means proven at the moment given the pathetic drug policy the AFL have! Same for the NRL when it comes to illicit drugs! And do ASADA run tests for illicits drugs? NO! They run them for PED's!! Get your head out of the sand, X!

And the ACC includes illicit drugs in crime by the way!!

Ban experimentation! Ban the lot! They don't need it, and any who think they do don't belong in elite level sport! Simple! End!

Illicit drug use is a crime is it? Wow I didnt realise that! interesting how the police know of illicit drug use by sportsmen yet don't act!

ASADA test for both PEDs and illicit drugs dummy!

Again, youre so confused it aint funny. Almost all Australian sports are far stricter on illicit drug use. Simply banning players won't do shit [-X

Oh yes it will! It'll clean all sports right up! And show me where ASADA test for illicit drugs by themselves and NOT on request by anyone let alone the AFL!

Ilicit drug use is a crime - via possession of said drug. Do your homework. And if the police know about it then they are corrupt.

"The AFL has a world’s best practice anti-doping program and was the leader **** Australian Sports to adopt a comprehensive blood-testing program. It has a significant financial and operational commitment to anti-doping and is working in partnership with ASADA to maintain a leadership ro’le in this critical area of sport."

Chairman, Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA)

The latest approaches to dealing with Ilicit drug use are medically based, not punitive. This includes use in the community. Punitive measures simply failed to address the cause of illicit drug use. Its essentially a medical issue, not criminal.
"I am aware that the media and community regularly call for tough, confrontational naming and shaming type responses. In my experience, these are most unhelpful in actually achieving behavioural change. my own approach in working in this area for over 35 years has always been to maintain a stance that is both humane and pragmatic and
is effective in bringing about behavioural change.
I support the AFL’s Illicit Drugs Policy because it not only sends a strong message not to use drugs but is consistent with this approach of offering counselling and treatment that provides an opportunity for Players who do make poor choices to change their behaviour"

The use of drugs is a problem throughout society and impacts tens of thousands of Australian families across all socio-economic levels. The AFL should be applauded for its work in tackling what is a broad community problem. The AFL is extremely proactive in tackling the problem, with policy and structure in place to raise awareness and educate Players and providing credible information on the insidious nature and dangers of drugs and their potential impact on mental and physical health. The AFL’s Illicit Drugs Policy is designed around harm minimisation and is an effective attack on drugs.
It sends a strong “anti-drugs” message that reinforces Ilicit drugs are dangerous"
