yes, but there are other venues up the road, Paramatta and Homebush Olympic precinct where events can be held at and a lot closer to the city meaning larger audience to attract. not 60kms on the edge of suburbia
however (penrith a very lucky to be getting a 300 Million stadium>> but i do understand why..

and upgrades to other suburban stadiums> which have not really occured. with only slight upgrades
