yes, but there are other venues up the road, Paramatta and Homebush Olympic precinct where events can be held at and a lot closer to the city meaning larger audience to attract. not 60kms on the edge of suburbia
correct, though Penrith is on the outskirts with the blue mountains (it offers something different) away from the city)

however (penrith a very lucky to be getting a 300 Million stadium>> but i do understand why..

Sydney want and are a city of cities
wasnt the NRl trying to centralise the grounds to the best they can be similar to what the AFL does to play in stadiums as im sure to keep the grounds up to scratch with OH&S would be costly for those dated smaller club venues
kinda yes and kinda no, this was before PVL management >>

PVL wanted a community asset at our major cities within Sydney>>

Parramatta
Penrith
Sydney City
Liverpool

and upgrades to other suburban stadiums> which have not really occured. with only slight upgrades

And the whole argument of the stadium in Hobart is they cannot get one yet the NRL can

Hobart the capital is entitled to a stadium,

Why do several cities in Sydney be entitled to a stadium when there are many others to choose from just up the road

It’s a simple self entitled Sydney centric attitude, throw in the expansion teams that the public have to pay for both something no other competition gets

No state except WA can afford anything as they are technically broke!

Numbers isn’t exactly something a NRL fan don’t understand, even more so a dimwit like you!

The stadium will bring in money and visitors to Tasmania and attract business! Normal people and codes with normal fans like to travel, NRL fans are the exception as in your words they are afraid to travel due to that tribal rivalry. Something hilarious in it self
