NlolRL wrote: Fri Jul 06, 2018 1:14 pmFor an AFL club to compete it needs a supporting population above 200k, which tasmania doesnt have in a single city. GC and Sydney have this and the potential is they will be more capable of supporting a team when they gain support. Of course this could take a generation but so would an increase in hobarts population

The simpleton

I'm afraid brissie and the swans barely made it after a generation of cola bucks. Barely, and while the AFL did em a shipload of favours their X factor was really the vic expat population and the minute number of oddballs and softys who thought 'I'm gunna be different and go for a less tough code'

I'm afraid it looks as tho the AFL management team, not you nlol

No you didn't.Terry wrote: Thu Jul 05, 2018 5:44 pmPal, you and your mate lloollller need to brush up on your comprehension skills lololololololol. No where did I say the NRL would 'surge' ahead of the AFL.SportCapital wrote: Thu Jul 05, 2018 11:39 amFuckin' "surge ahead"!Terry wrote: Tue Jul 03, 2018 3:11 pm
You see....the thing is pal.....historically the AFL has been the best run game in the country and the NRL has been a rabble.
But then a strange thing happened on the way to the forum - the actual game of AFL morphed into the ugliest mess in world sport whilst RL just got better & better.
At the same time Gilty and the boys at HQ were spending more time chasing junior female staffers around the office than actually administering the game. And voila...….the game has massive problems on multiple fronts.
Meantime the NRL are finally getting their act together. This year is set to become a watershed year for both codes. An annus horribilis for the fumblers and a chance for the NRL to surge ahead.

Talk about a bubble, that is bubble dribble.
Surge ahead......
The gulf between the comps is enormous.
The AFL would need to drop more than half its crowds.
2 thirds of its members.
A massive chunk of the broadcast deal.
And half its players
A shit load of sponsorship
And allot of class.
To even get close to a point the NRL can "surge ahead".
Are you serious?
I stated the NRL as an entity would surge ahead my friend. Context is everything. Being a fumbling zealot is hard work lololololololol........
Context this....
You never said they would surge ahead at all. As an entity or any other sort of bullshit rabble.
You stated, firstly and all in the same passage of script,
"This year is set to become a watershed year for both codes."
Referencing both codes directly....
Then you stated,
"An annus horribilis for the fumblers and a chance for the NRL to surge ahead."
Referencing both codes again with an added Inference that the "annus horribilis" the fumblers are having will provide a chance for the NRL to "surge ahead".
All in the one sentence.
Two things can be learnt here Terry.
1. A chance is definately no guarantee something would happen.
(You contradicted yourself)
And,
2. Context: the parts of something written or spoken that immediately precede and follow a word or passage and clarify its meaning.
Comprende amigo?

Beaussie? Wookie? Show yer faces you pair of cowards. It’s disgraceful how you’ve left ol nlol so high and dry to cop belting upon belting in here as ur ratings and Cwowds have been falling this year![]()
I dont have to say shit here.

Members and guests, please, allow me to paint the scene we have before us here.
Now I want you to all sit down in a nice quiet place. Relax your mind from all distraction and picture a big house. Now place big capital letters A F L on the front wall of the house. Now Picture Gil mcgloughlin inside one of the front windows. He's Panting, struggling to breath and looks to be calling out for help. There's smoke billowing in the room he appears trapped In and you notice the roof suddenly ablaze.

Now picture nlol busting out the front door with the inferno raging behind him. His pants are on fire and he's screaming for help in a very high pitched tone. He's literally burning alive. Now allow your mind to return back to Wookie who's watching all this from the front lawn. He looks at the house, then at nlol... and he turns around looking for the biggest hill he can see and begins running full pelt towards it!

When he gets there he finds beaussie on top of the hill, sitting in the foetal position, rocking and murmuring and repeating over and over again "they said all the boys in tonga were playing AFL, they said the game in China would be packed to the rafters"
Basically that right there? Thats our leadership pair here at tfc

Re: Classic AFL delusional behaviour - there'll be no AFL team in tasmania
Wookie sits down next to beaussie, and, after hearing an almighty pig like squeal from the burning nlol in the valley below, he assumes the foetal position and starts to slowly rock his body back and forth. After a few minutes he begins to murmur in low tones, repeating again and again the sentence "they said the state of origin wouldn't half fill the G"

Firstly Jessie, are you just here to spruik your online essay writing service? And secondly, you’d better improve your sentence writing skills if you wanna have a successful venture in the dodgy online essay writing businessjessiebarber wrote: Sun Jul 08, 2018 3:15 amThanks for your greatest attention to the details. I mean that second sentence is just awful. It’s up there with the gibberish sportcapital shat out in his earlier post on this page.
And thirdly, thank you for your commendations. My thread is, as you say, great and ultimately essential.

Now, answer my questions, and Jessie? Do pickup yer game
