AFL has no choiceGrim Reaper wrote:AFL does not need to play games overseas as we have the crowds here, unlike the nrl that cannot fill a stadium in Australia thus the reason having to go and play against tinpot countries elsewhere...As for the Socceroo aka Wogball who cares, most who supported them are bandwagon supporters. Thank God Australia did no get the world cup as FIFA is a corrupt joke..Run off a play your irrelevant Throwball you Dog!
Was great seeing the AFL International Cup in Sydney yesterday. So many nations represented. A fantastic sight to see.Dogs wrote:In response to your comment. It is not that AFL does not need to played overseas, it is that you do not have a choice, as outside VIC, SA and WA there is no real interest.

Back on topic, most Australians don't know who this Lockyear is. That's a fact. Learn to deal with the insignficance of your code and its players in this country. Reality is, NRL players are only noticed when they make the switch to the AFL.
yes .. of course you didn't know who he wasBeaussie wrote:I live in NSW and didn't know who he was till you posted this article in this thread. I'm still scratching my head wondering what all the fuss is about. Like I said, I take it, he is popular in QLD and that is it.
Back on topic, if you live in NSW and don't know who Darren Lockyer is, then you, like Grim Dribbler live in a bubble. I am also from NSW originally and travel regularly down there for work. I know I have seen plenty about him in the papers or on the news. So that would suggest you never watch the news, never read a paper. One of your best bebubbleboy. :>::Beaussie wrote:Was great seeing the AFL International Cup in Sydney yesterday. So many nations represented. The arrogance of you throwball fans is astounding. FFS, are you really trying to tell us that everyone in NSW and QLD knows who this Lockyer bloke is. Delusional and arrogant comes to mind when thinking about you throwball fans.Dogs wrote:Back on topic, if you live in NSW and don't know who Darren Lockyer is, then you, like Grim Dribbler live in a bubble. You plead ignorance to knowing Darren Lockyer, but I am sure most of Australia (except Beaussie and our Victorian friends) knew nothing of the joke you are calling international rule. You know, the International game that you don't need in one thread, but now want it in this thread. Oh that right it suits you know. Let go on the merry-go-round with AFL fans again.
Good response, if you were 12. Your fellow bubbleboy seems to think international game are worth a mention.Grim Reaper wrote:![]()

So you are suggesting you have never ever heard the name, seen it on the news or on a paper. No No your ignorance and living in a bubble comes to my mind. I suggest you are lying. If you lived in Melbourne I may have understood, funny though when I talk to the guys in our Melbourne office that they still know who the high profile players in league are. There is certainly less coverage of league down there. So what is your excuse.Beaussie wrote:The arrogance of you throwball fans is astounding. You joined the thread with nonsense.Beaussie wrote:Maybe. Who knows. Amazing though hearing the throwball fans bleat about us not knowing who this Lockyer is. Do you know who any of the following are:
Harry Kewell
Ian Thorpe
Cadel Evans
Or do you plead ignorance with them as well as they don't play AFL.
