Re: Rank the Codes in NSW
Would love to rank them, but I enjoy watching all the codes, last weekend was massive & then there was also F1, NBL Blitz, the Laver Cup, & the Rugby World Cup, my problem was not haven't enough screens to watch it all!

A lot of Victorians think anglofl is no. 2 sport in NSW. Of opinion game is in top spot in China as well.

Nope. Afl out rates the rugby union more often than not... in fact rugby union season comp isn’t even shown on FTA and the recent wallabies we game was outraged by the afl game on at the same weekend. Crowds for afl slaughter the rugby union more often than not and afl has moved onto private schools ... once the domain of the elite rugby union crowd.

Gee this whole ranking of the codes in NSW seems to really get the leaguies worked up.

The continual growth of Australia’s Game in NSW is great to see. Fancy the AFL outrating a Rugby World Cup match involving the Wallabies. No.2 code easily.

"One in every 24 Australians is now a member of an AFL club, a sign that the national reach of Australian football has never been greater," League CEO Gillon McLachlan said.

Re: Rank the Codes in NSW
You're jumping ahead - wallabies have rated over 100,000 in Sydney twice this year, Anglofl done it only once. You a paid patron as well?Beaussie wrote: ↑Wed Sep 25, 2019 6:50 amYep... what Fred said.Fred wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2019 10:53 pm Nope. Wallabies & Anglofl not head to head last Saturday - rugby on much earlier. Anglofl got prime time slot replacing 7 news which is usually top rated show on the night. Some people tuning in for news waited around for game to be over - most did not.

Desperate much. Is there any excuse you want use? People tuning in for 7 news and stayed watching. If they hated afl so much they may have changed channels. That takes the cake. So many lols. Pathetic.

Mate. You are making a fool of yourself. Let you uncle crapper handle the more difficult stuff. If you want to be like him a deflection rather than such a silly arguement would have been the way to go.
It must be hurting so bad gws and afl are expanding alinto western Sydney. You poor thing .... losing the battle here mate. You keep telling yourself people weren’t watching or got tricked into watching. Your own figures actually support that people who didn’t want to watch turned over......

Re: Rank the Codes in NSW
AFL are very good at targeting areas in Sydney.. where Rugby league has taken for granted
and dont really have a team in the area.
The Hills District from Castle Hill to Hornsby has a niche following.. for AFL.
same as North Sydney through to Kuring gai. has a niche following for AFL.

the news is typically the highest rating program on any given day. This literally means nothing.
