Just curious, have you got a link to Auskick being included in overall membership numbers?
That aside my nephews Auskick registration this year was from memory $180 and only provided access to 3 Swans games as a Red Rookie.

Re: One in every 24 Australians is now a member of an AFL club
You know, sometimes I wish I was a fumbleball fan. How good would it be to hear Gilty say 'one in every 24 Aussies was a member of an AFL club' and to just believe him absolutely. No questions, no thought, no research. Just blind imbecilic belief. How good would that be??????? I mean who needs independent thought?????
It would be like being a 5 year old kid your whole life. You would believe in Santa, the tooth fairy, flying pigs...β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦...and the great God Gilty .........for your whole life lolololololol!!!!!!!!!!
What an easy life it is for the fumbling zealot!!!!!!

I'm not sure anyone takes the full membership tally seriously for any sport. I mean the tigers have 100k members yet simply cannot seat them all given the MCC makes up nearly a third of the MCG. Essendon have 76k members yet their home ground only seats 56k.
Everyone knows a large proportion of the memberships are for a few games. However, they are still paying members who support their club financially

I couldnt care less who they count as long as memberships translate to money to the clubs and crowds attending games. You guys get so stuck on such trivial mattersAFLcrap1 wrote: βSat Aug 04, 2018 12:59 pmLol paying membersNlolRL wrote: βSat Aug 04, 2018 12:41 pmI'm not sure anyone takes the full membership tally seriously for any sport. They simply cannot be compared pal. Different cities, different pricing, different mindset for memberships. Unless of course a Rugby League club has more members than an AFL club and then I will compare it. That's the way it rolls around here.

memberships result in crowds and revenue, something that's easily compared for both compsTerry wrote: βSat Aug 04, 2018 1:42 pmThey simply cannot be compared pal. It's kind of liberating to not have to actually think about things. You just put your brain in neutral and let the idiocy spew forth.
