both AFL and NRL comps have elements making it unfair. The Broncos get massive exposure due to their FTA schedule, which gives them far more spending money that other clubs.

The Swans dont get extra money, their below average players ie new recruits, get assistance to cover living costs which compensates the pull to go back to their home state.

As an NRL fan you'd know nothing about the importance of keeping an expansion side competitive. The only real expansion club you have are the storm which miraculously stay dominant year after year

QLD Vic or Nz teams have to play the RL GF in SYD .
That's just how it is .
It's nothing but a deflection from the on field benefits YOUR team gets to ensure they stay successful .

a lot actually. It's a disadvantage to interstate sides that the GF is played in Melbourne rather than the state where the highest ranked qualifier resides. It's another valid reason the comp, and your comp, is inherently unfair.

Australia is very unique in that it has two dominant winter codes based in their own heartland states. Therefore, to even out the disadvantages expansion sides have by being forced to recruit primarily interstate players they are given some benefits in compensation.
