There's a clear pattern here.
The reason as I see it why the AFL don't punish as much is that the perpetrators are worth considerably more than their NRL counterparts to their respective leagues.
It's good for business and the smart thing to do not to write off assets.

When the is bigger than the whack this problem will never go away. As I've stated, ban a few for life and we'll have a marked reduction in these scandals. Little holidays don't cut it.
