I love the way you fumblers just 'take away' crowd figures and ratings that don't suit your feeble minded fumblehouse agenda. No..... you can't have that game crowd at ANZ!! No SOO is not allowed in the ratings!!!!! You fumblers seriously need to break away from the great fumblegod in the sky. Seek help from those close to you. Go to psychiatrist's if you can afford it. If you're a Collingwood supporter your money is better spent on dentists - you poor simpletons will never get it!!!!Beaussie wrote: Sun Jan 22, 2017 7:00 pmTake away the ANZ derby crowd and Wanderers average crowds from Spotless Stadium are pathetic for a club whose supporters make out they are somehow huge in western Sydney. very true, beaussie loves trying to make up figures to support it, so when they don't he goes you can't have those figures because they don't support what i want to show.Terry wrote: Sun Jan 22, 2017 7:48 pmI love the way you fumblers just 'take away' crowd figures and ratings that don't suit your feeble minded fumblehouse agenda. There is no argument on earth that could put AFL ahead of Football in NSW. Any reasonable and knowledgeable person can see it, clearly that is why Beauusie can't.
NRL ahead of football, I won't say well ahead, but significantly ahead, 3rd and fourth would be close, AFL might be just ahead of RU, but both of them are a long way back.

I agree with porky .
& you know what makes it soo funny
They start threads that attract the usual braindead fumblers that state how big the player numbers are in NSW .
How there's 86 k woman playing ...
How there Are some incredibly high number of players overall
Yet then they don't have the AFL as no 1
Strange with that much interest you'd think they'd have it at the top .
Unless they are admitting in a roundabout way that those numbers are bullshit .
Lol

Naaa it's only the eels that arent allowed to use anz stadium figures, looks like we are fucked for 3 seasons with an average of whatever the Darwin game gets.

Re: Rank the Codes in NSW
And what makes it even funnier is the fact the AFL and soccer **** are arguing over anz stadium figures now accusing the other lot that they decided no anz figures were to be put in, you couldnt make it up.
All you bastards have done for 10 years now is remove the anz games from parra to make their average look way smaller than it is because both the wonderderpers and gws nothings can't get close otherwise, what a bunch of pathetic hypocrites.

Going to get worse, I agree the 85,000 Women AFL players is just a random number they picked out of the ether. There is no way it is based on any reality. I live in what is supposed to be a huge AFL area (north West Sydney) and I see the local AFL ground empty not being used 85% of the time I estimate.

You just can't handle cold hard facts. AFL is getting it's arse whipped by a global sport with probably a tenth of the marketing revenue AFL is using in NSW.Beaussie wrote: Sun Jan 22, 2017 7:00 pmTake away the ANZ derby crowd and Wanderers average crowds from Spotless Stadium are pathetic for a club whose supporters make out they are somehow huge in western Sydney. Re: Rank the Codes in NSW
the swans are bigger than any sydney based a-league team i would agree with that based on all the aforementioned factors
but the swans bigger than sfc and wsw combined? naaa...the swans didnt sell out a single home game last season at the scg with their biggest drawing games (including their derby vs gws) falling well short of capacity....the a-league version does 60k in its first go at a venue that allows for it and will do it again in a few weeks.
also another thing i haven't seen mentioned enough here in this debate about aussie rules vs soccer in nsw is the socceroos which tip it even more in favor of soccer in my opinion. aussie rules does not have an equivalent

Re: Rank the Codes in NSW
No doubt soccer participation wise is bigger, but neither SFC or Wand get the crowds on a regular basis Swans home crowd average last year was 33425. You can't pluck out one game in isolation and say there thats my support. You have to average out attendances in order to see what regular representation you have, thats called cherry picking. The Swans have the biggest revenue, membership, crowd average, merchandising sales. But by all means keep using one figure to justify your position after all the RL posters do it all the time.sydneyfc wrote: Wed Jan 25, 2017 7:15 amthe swans are bigger than any sydney based a-league team i would agree with that based on all the aforementioned factors

Re: Rank the Codes in NSW
i understand all that but the original statement was that it was claimed by beaussie was that the swans on their own are bigger than sfc and wsw combined. insinuating that it was a landslide evenSwans4ever wrote: Wed Jan 25, 2017 8:11 amNo doubt soccer participation wise is bigger, but neither SFC or Wand get the crowds on a regular basis Swans home crowd average last year was 33425. so lets combine sfc and wsw, then compare them with the swans
the derby game isn't just an outlier thats only available to soccer...you have it as well in the AFL...or are u saying gws fans do not travel?
if the wanderers current average at the moment is 18,800 while sfc is 18,050, thats nearly 37,000 a-league fans combined, on average going to home games every other week in sydney. i dont see any landslide thats for sure...and anyway, no one was saying the swans aren't the biggest club in sydney, well i wasn't anyway because by most metrics, they are.

Just like to point out the Swans had many sellout SCG games last season and also had nearly 70k for our last game vs the Giants at ANZ Stadium.
