Lol
This shit again .
You infect every thread with the same tripe you've been ranting with for years .

Failures are not **** the highest paid.
Failures do Not play at the highest level in fumble world
Failures do not get lauded by coaches & commentators
Failures are not still spoken about as wanting to get back in the game .

They're all facts .
You just ignore facts & rant over & over .
It gets brought up, because you loons keep claiming how AR is easy to play over league

Leagues is a simple dumbed down version of union, the example of leagues finest being picked as marketing tools and having it pointed out that they struggled to make the grade in wooden spoon winning sides being out preformed by teen age kids after being given severe years of training, it a very fair example on the differences of the two codes.
Leagues finest failed pathetically! To stupid, slow, unco and retarrrrded to play it.

If you don't want this brought up regularly don't keep claiming how easy AR is to play over league
Australian sporting sponsorship
AFL excess of $50m
A league $30 million plus
ARU $27 million
NRLOL $25 million

Don't keep trying to claim how easy AR is to play when leagues finest failed to pathetically at it.

They really were never going to success! Being a league player! To slow, dumb, unco and unskilled!

Catching a 5 meter throw then running in a forward direction with it under your arm isn't really that skill full!
Well not if your a league fan, usually some one that is limited & survives with the aid of a special needs nurse! The. It could be looked at as a skill!

Come back when a fumbler gets to play top grade RL
Come back when a fumbler is **** the highest paid in RL
Come back when a fumbler is lauded by RL coaches & media .
Come back when coaches are wanting them to return .

Seriously, why would an AFL player go and play rl unless they were paid a stupid amount of money to do so? It would be a massive drop in wage to play a game totally different. Only thing I could think of would be to play for Australia which would not be enough incentive to leave a high paying career and a game you are good at to get at best a similar wage.

Fredo: Hunt and Folau only went to play fumbleball because of the massive money offered to them. It immediately made them the biggest earners in the fumbling game. There isn't a chance in hell any RL club will offer a fumbler similar money for the simple reason they would never play a 1st grade game. Due to the structure, skill and physicality of RL no sportsmen without years background in the game or maybe RU could play at NRL level. On the other hand Hunt and Folau immediately played 1st grade fumbleball. Hunt was serviceable and Folau was described by the great Kelvin Shedley as being one of the greatest talents he's ever seen.

In contrast the timidity, lack of rules and low base skill level of the fumbling game means sportsmens from RL, RU, Gaelic football, soccer, basketball, hopscotch, skipping, cheer leading, coin tossing, long distance spitting........in fact just about anyone anywhere can play at top level in fumbleball. It is truly the game of the good, the bad, the ugly, the hopeless, the unskilled, the untalented and the totally uncoordinated. Yep, it's a game for everybody!!!!!!

Indeed I agree they did.

Um... yes and no. Neither would have made it had it not been part of the package to do so although hunt was somewhat serviceable.

Rl is indeed a skilful game as are most games played at the highest level. Many AFL players from nsw have played rl and there are elite sportsman, even AFL, could make it in nrl. If it was a popular and paid as well as AFL then you would see it.

The rest is just dribble so I'll leave it at that.

As players they were not highest paid. A large part of their salaries was paid by the AFL for marketing and did not fall under the salary cap.

We all know they were marketing tools. It was a bad idea by the AFL to do so as it cheapened the game I feel. It did increase interest and got eyes watching that otherwise would not have... but at what price. Israel was an abject failure and just too lazy... and still played. Hence his role
