A comparison with tassie and cairns, areas which have barely one game of AFL in a whole calendar, and areas which are warmer than canberra and have likely never seen a game of AFL at 0degrees (cairns

) are simply not comparable. People are very very cold in canberra at the moment and there's only 300odd k of em in the city. Additionally its school holidays and we all know canberrans flock the fuck outta there like wildebeest during a lion ambush in school hols.
So let's be sensible here.
Given
a) the region is experiencing the coldest snap in 17+ years
B) the region has a population of 350odd thou
C) it was school hols in canberra
We could safely say that a 6,000 crowd was equivalent to about 23,779 during almost any other weekend of the year.
