:roll: Who thinks David Peachey was pushed out of the game like me. the guy has given a lot to the game and deserved to be in the South Sydney team and what finsihes of playing in a dead beat Premier league team and game such a shame. Thanks Peach

he was still gracious in his departure .. good onya David and thank you so many great memories from his contributions on and off the field ... which were recognised this year at the deadly awards

Older players are not really pushed out from the game, they are merily replaced with younger models...

Although David was playing great footy each up and coming contract that was signed was risky if you weigh him up against a younger player who would be more of a asset for years longer, rather than just holding david year to year..

He was one of those players who got better each year he played, was great to watch him come back to the ARL so we could see him farewell the fans..

But I think JT still did the wrong thing by him he could of finished in first grade I felt he was more deserving on form look at Jason Smith at least he retired in first grade

I'd say pressure from the mid season slump combined with a performing replacement lead him to go with a guy who has more strike in attack than david was currently showing..

I guess he got thrown a lifeline by souths to once again play in australia and was appreciative just to get back in a team after he was thrown away from the sharks.
