the only sport that has regular sellouts & venues at capacity in Sydney
both at small venues

the fumbles & feebles never does

Holy Hell, i'm not far off getting a bingo here!

In saying that what are the chances of a GWS upset?
More lies.

There have been Sydney RL games already this year that have had higher crowds than what the AFL, Union and soccer have got in NSW this season.

There are more big derby games to come yet with Parra hosting the Bulldogs at ANZ where the crowd could hit 60k.

Can you point out the AFL, union or soccer club games in NSW this season that have had higher crowds than the NRL?

The So-called local derbies in the AFL and Soccer this year to date in NSW have had TV ratings not much higher than the crowds and you and ya dopey mates think these games are the biggest?

Get off the drugs.
re-read his post. He said they were the biggest crowds in Sydney on their respective weekends.

Derby 1 this year had 17k people (in the pouring rain I might add). Same weekend in the nRL the biggest crowd in Sydney was 13k. Derby II will be the biggest crowd in Sydney this weekend also.

It's not always the case. One of the Sydney derbies came up against a Souths v Bulldogs game that had 50k people, but on the whole the Sydney derby is the biggest crowd in Sydney the weekend that it's played.

the sydney derby for the a-league has been a sell out for the last 4 matches in the row, i think if one of the matches was to be held at ANZ it'd go close to selling that out too

WSW have had ample opportunities to move the Derby to ANZ
but were shit scared the joint wouldn't even be half full .....

I see they have refused to take them there again in 2014/15

perhaps you don't understand the concept of a contract?

they're contracted to play all their homes games pirtek for the a-league and ACL

the only time a game of theirs was mooted to be moved to ANZ was for the play-offs of which the FFA govern and run themselves and can move games if they see fit. If sydney beat melbourne in our playoff game we would of played them there, but we lost to melbourne and thus it never happened

you need to try a little harder dribbler!

by the way dave! our average excluding the derbies was 13,961! not bad for a team with no fans!

the title topping roosters avg excluding "sydney derby" teams is 10,831!, even their normal average of 13,118 is still below it!

infact, that 13,961 is still higher than the following: Tigers, Titans, Panthers, Sharks, Manly, your awful Raiders + the roosters!

nevermind adding in our well deserved sell out derbies which put us ahead of well over half NRL teams. dont get so salty just because a young upstart club in SFC is running rings around the competition!

oh
lets see
no
fucking wrong again ....  :_<> :_<> :(/ :(/ :(/
the Roosters average in 2013 minus their game V souths was 17,489

they haven't played Souths at home yet in 2014 you dribbling fucktard
so how you came up with an average for this year
shows you're making stuff up ....

Sydney NRL club crowds bigger then anything the Oi League has had in Sydney
in just the last few years

59,708 South Sydney V Roosters 2013
51,686 Canterbury V South Sydney 2013
50,668 Parramatta V Tigers 2014
45,863 Parramatta V Dragons 2012
43,651 South Sydney V Bulldogs 2014
40,752 Roosters V Dragons
40,164 Dragons V Roosters

not adding finals
not adding origin
&
theres another 3 or 4 that will join this list for this year alone later on this season

Sorry - sum total well if that's the case then the Storm are totally insignificant in Melb, Soccer beats them, in Brisbane there is a 40/60 split between AFL supporters and NRL supporters (Lions average is 20k). Sooooooooo do you really wanna go down that path KE??
The threads not about the storm dipshit.

then they disappear, then they vanish in to thin air not to be seen again unil the following year
then the NRL goes back to their 15k average, even less if you where to take the broncos out of the equation, the real average for NSW would only be around 13k
do they all want to save them self from embarrassment from being unable to hold their bladder by not going out in public, like this bloke (cough cough raiderdave)
