yes, but there are other venues up the road, Paramatta and Homebush Olympic precinct where events can be held at and a lot closer to the city meaning larger audience to attract. not 60kms on the edge of suburbia
correct, though Penrith is on the outskirts with the blue mountains (it offers something different) away from the city)

however (penrith a very lucky to be getting a 300 Million stadium>> but i do understand why..

Sydney want and are a city of cities
wasnt the NRl trying to centralise the grounds to the best they can be similar to what the AFL does to play in stadiums as im sure to keep the grounds up to scratch with OH&S would be costly for those dated smaller club venues
kinda yes and kinda no, this was before PVL management >>

PVL wanted a community asset at our major cities within Sydney>>

Parramatta
Penrith
Sydney City
Liverpool

and upgrades to other suburban stadiums> which have not really occured. with only slight upgrades

And the whole argument of the stadium in Hobart is they cannot get one yet the NRL can

Hobart the capital is entitled to a stadium,

Why do several cities in Sydney be entitled to a stadium when there are many others to choose from just up the road

It’s a simple self entitled Sydney centric attitude, throw in the expansion teams that the public have to pay for both something no other competition gets

No state except WA can afford anything as they are technically broke!

Numbers isn’t exactly something a NRL fan don’t understand, even more so a dimwit like you!

The stadium will bring in money and visitors to Tasmania and attract business! Normal people and codes with normal fans like to travel, NRL fans are the exception as in your words they are afraid to travel due to that tribal rivalry. Something hilarious in it self

the only one struggling with maths here is you as per usual you dribbling halfwit
Accor 1 billion
110K seats when it was finished in 1999
Allianz 828 mill
42K seats
Parramatta 300 million
30K seats
Penrith 309 million
25K seats

NSW has spent 2.4 billion on stadia for
207K seats

Tasmania
1 billion for
23K seats

a rort
fuck this shit off , thats what Tasmanians are quite rightly saying to bumbleturd house
you really are shit scared nor have a clue about anything real worl!

its called inflation as to why things are more expensive!, 309 million for 2.5k seats then try and tell me with new and other first class venues up the road! and Tasmania cant get first class venue!

how is the state meant to attract events without a decent venue. the Tasmanians have to get on an aeroplane across the bass straight to the mainland each time as opposed to drive 30 minutes up the road like they dont want to do in Sydney?

its straight out jealously and fear and to think the weather in Hobart is that similar to Sydney makes you even more nieve

as quoted the Hobart stadium will hose around 300 events, Penrith will host up to 10 concerts and the NRL team home games, 22 events a year?

to take your own advice
8-[
the real world ?
that you're yet to join ?     :(/ :(/ :(/

Parramatta cost 300 million in 2019
for 30K seats
Allianz 828 million in 2022
for 42K seats

yet Tasmanians are expected to pay over a billion for 23K seats
only a gold olympic medal class moron would cop that

& i present fumblers to you      :(/  :(/
That stadium in Tasmania is the biggest farkin rort of all time. It is like the AFL has no confidence in their own sport to create a successful team without asking for massively excessive handouts from the taxpayer.

Ah yeah, like the fact Rugby League has 28 Professional clubs in 4 countries to AFL being confined to just 1 country with 18 teams.

Where is AFL is England? 😂😂

your more insecure than that aziv

a little history, Rugby is a game from the UK/ Europe and has been played over 100 plus years, the popularity of Rugby spreads with the movement of migration.
the fact that AFL is as popular as it is being a product from Australia is a credit to the game it self. The fact that league has only 28 professional clubs 18.19/20 of them in Australia the others are in semi pro league is pretty funny when compared to union the AFL has 18 pro teams its fucken hilarious when trying to say its has more fans and more popular. really league is a joke on the world stage, the AFL at least isnt expected to be and never claims to be an international game

the NRL has 17 teams currently at the highest level. (soon to be 19 teams)

Super league has 3 divisions with 12 teams at the highest level (which includes 1 team from the south of France>

Super league is expanding to 14 teams in 2 years.

Rugby League will have 33 Teams at the Highest Level by 2028
with many other divisions under it.
