I agree. I thought it was great that the Broncos went to the Lions Qualifying Final vs Port & then went to congratulate them afterwards in the rooms after. It was front page of The Sunday Mail the day after also.
I could only imagine how much Truthbomber hates that.

The Courier Mail is an Rugby League paper so I am not sure how the AFL can pay them off when Rugby League basically runs the whole sports section of the paper, a lot like the Herald Sun for AFL in Melbourne.

Anyway I am very excited that for 1 week & probably 1 week only the AFL will be the talk of Brisbane town. It doesn't happen often.

There is also 2 more pages of footy on pages 9-10. Also Robert Craddock wrote a great piece about how strong & inspirational the lions have been this year, comparing them to the mighty Cowboys Rugby premiership in 2015 vs the Broncos.

I look at "TV Tonight Ratings" all the time & AFL seems to not only beat NRL in TV viewership numbers but absolutely thrash them. It was like 3.2 Million for the AFL & only 1.7 Million for the NRL.
