MCG - ANZAC day

ANZAC day is a solem day -Lin and of itself - when it comes to footy (whatever code) the MCG is just made for such a game.

You have to maintain tradition I feel - so if Collingwood are doing poorly do you drop them from the fixture?

this would make the fixture even bigger i feel... interesting>> especially if there were some big close contests straight up.

Yep true, you cannot change it really, 31 years in the making>>

well you would not drop Collingwood as there a bigger drawing team

Interesting though
AFL went with the 2 biggest Melbourne Clubs for Anzac Day in 1995

NRL began the tradition >> which normally had Aus v NZ
with
St George v Sydney Roosters in 2002
before adding
Melbourne Storm in 2009 against the Warriors.
which have now been against Souths
