I’m a long time Labor voter, but gees, I think the ALP have messed up their chances in Tassie this weekend. Similarly in Queensland.

Footy shows and news media basically saying a vote for Labor will be uncertainty for the new Tassie Devils footy team due to the stadium issue.

Labour stuffing it up in Tassie and Queensland.

Everybody is, or should, be aware that these are not, nor are they meant to be, “full” memberships.
You are aware that there is no actual team yet?
Pretty damn good numbers for a side that doesn't take the field until 2028.

I don’t know. I was watching a few shows and talk was of how they were only $10 ($15 if you want more stickers) and that it is more a show of support.

I haven't hear anyone claiming this for anything more than what it is. If you have then I would agree, that is purely silly. But for mine, it is just a token show of support and that seems to be the consensus.

In saying that - I haven't looked too closely into it and will see if I can find some articles where they make out this membership tally is more than just an expression of support.

Tassie its a lock it is just going to come down to how good the stadium will be..
and how much are they willing to spend (the Government)
