Considering the international relationship between the two countries. I am betting AFL has abandoned all plans in China. And let's be honest, AFL never resonated with the Chinese.
I think Canada and the U.S will have professional Rugby League clubs before AFL even thinks about playing another game in China.

Why don't they just play Ireland. That is the only other country AFL has potential to grow.

No.. just play it in Australia. No need to grow it outside the country . That whole international rules thing is a joke too.

Spot on their Pipen - I think most AFL supporters are there with you on that one - a futile exercise that simply isn't required.Pippen1994 wrote: Sun May 23, 2021 9:24 pmHope they never stop trying to expand overseas, failure just too funny

I'm gonna miss the China game. It was like a genius comedy routine!!! Every year they proclaimed a sell-out crowd. Every year the ground looked like the Ginats No-name stadium............empty lolololol!!!!!!
Every year Gilty would look down a camera and say with a straight face the crowd was in the food stalls lololololol!!!!! Or buses broke down on the way to the ground lolololololol!!!!!
And funniest of all, fumbling folk would nod, pat each other on the back and say, "yeah, good job Gilty" lolololol!!!!
Dead set gold!!!!!!!!!!!!!
