I think they did maintain fans. Yes they lost some members and crowd size went down. But that will happen over 10 years of being a basket case. Happens for most teams and more so where they are the secondary sport or interloper. But those ones who stayed... the rusted on ones... that’s a solid base.

Yes but their lowest average attendance was in 2017, 16,455, still above the above the average of Chuckball over the last 14 years and only topped once, ever.
And they did top the Broncos average for some years, which if they maintain finals appearances, they will do so again.
Interesting that the main battle of the codes is in Queensland, Broncos vs Lions and Titans vs Suns but for entirely different reasons.

To be fair I have not looked at the Bears attendance records which I will at a later time.
