kangaroos v All Blacks
Hybrid rugby: Kangaroos could face All Blacks in $50 million blockbuster
TOP-LEVEL plans are advancing for a historic $50 million hybrid game between Australia’s world champion Kangaroos and New Zealand’s World Cup-winning All Blacks.
now they have talked about this for years (but money does talk)
this would be a HUGE GAME>>

Re: kangaroos v All Blacks
You're saying, as an AFL player who is guessing what is going on here, that the all blacks rugby union team is being sought as an opponent to a specialised Australian team in the rules of rugby league?
Capice?

A combination of both rules.

After watching the NZ/Tonga game today, The possible all blacks match , the renewed interest by Canada, France and the US, the international 9's series.... Wow, the mind just boggles . The possibilities are just endless. I almost feel sorry for that other code

Re: kangaroos v All Blacks
It would gain a lot of interest, the big question is how you would structure the tackling rules.
Would players be held in tackles or be able pass the ball on with hybrid matches?

Yup the renewed interested in USA and France after both teams getting flogged at the world cup, a international 9 series that they have been talking about doing since the auckland 9s start and yet still hasn't happened. Or the confederations cup that was suppose to happen next year but has been pushed back till 2023

Re: kangaroos v All Blacks
its not happening, the abs were approached a year ago and nothing has been said about this. The abs have far too busy a schedule already to be wrong about a nothing match against a team that cant even fill stadiums in its own countryNRL&NFLweLaughATafl wrote: Sun Nov 12, 2017 2:32 pmIt would gain a lot of interest, the big question is how you would structure the tackling rules.

if the pay packet was there>> NZ and KANGAROOS would jump at it>>
this 1 off game would be more $$ than they would make in a year..
TV RATINGS CROWDS INTEREST world wide in rugby countries>> would be at another level..

I didn't say I felt sorry for union. There not a rival, as far as all but a full hold outs Union is already dead in this country. It's the pathetic small minded AFL loon's I feel almost sorry for. Rugby doesn't enter into my thinking, not in Australia at least.rugby365 wrote: Mon Nov 13, 2017 9:20 ampussycat wrote: Sat Nov 11, 2017 6:35 pmAfter watching the NZ/Tonga game today, The possible all blacks match , the renewed interest by Canada, France and the US, the international 9's series.... This weekend australia vs wales, england vs agentina, abs vs france and south africa vs ireland those 4 games alone this weekend has drawn more crowds then the entire RLWC so far and you are almost feel sorry for rugby

Ps.The League have been under contract with the current 9's setup for the past 4 or 5 years. Now that ended who knows what will replace it - the season is limited but the possibilities are endless. Unlike Union

rugby man be struggle here at the moment but it can still draw 45k for a dead rubber match which is more than what the kangroos can produce.pussycat wrote: Mon Nov 13, 2017 10:40 amI didn't say I felt sorry for union. we know what its going to replace..talk thats what its going to replace, just more talk. after the 2013 they said they will announce a international calendar, 4 years later nothing. its just all talk as always.
Rugby on the other hand, 100mil investment in China, rugby world cup in Japan, Olympics, 7's world cup in the US, Major league rugby launch in USA next year, just endless possibilities and actual action.

Why? You guys are still trying to pretend your game actually kicks the ball..... imagine playing 'football' your whole life and never having kicked the ball except at trainingpussycat wrote: Sat Nov 11, 2017 6:35 pmAfter watching the NZ/Tonga game today, The possible all blacks match , the renewed interest by Canada, France and the US, the international 9's series....
