What were they for last night ? I flicked over to the nrl game. To be honest I don't like the style of play that is on offer at the moment. As strange as it is, despite some poor skills, I did enjoy the women's games I watched. The pace of the men's game for me at present sees too many errors unless it is done to a high standard; which I think too many teams are trying but not up to it. I actually watched about 15 minutes of the nrl before flicking back to the footy.

Poor skills. You mean where people are actually able to catch a ball unlike AFL where they knock the ball on constantly lol..

Now I am seeing AFL players score using their hands too haha

Score if you miss, score if you kick it too high, score with your hands. Is beyond easy in AFL.

Lol

I acknowledged the NRLs victory on Thursday night without an issue.

Unlike the plethora of excuses pussy made when i showed the AFL obliterated the NRL in prime time comparisons last year. Heres a list of his excuses:

- night v night is unfair
- including matches effected by SOO is unfair
- including only friday is unfair

So i included the NRLs thursday games, excluded soo effected rounds, and compared round v round, and the AFL still won easily

But but but

Common Sense should tell you its about all games , Not just the ones you like to pick and choose!

The NRL annual report had the league's TV ratings up 14%. How far were the AFL's down?

picking and choosing would be selecting single rounds as isolated comparisons. Comparing every FTA prime time game for the year is completely fair.

The AFL easily won this comparison, yet strangely lost the cumulative comparison. This strongly suggests the cumulative ratings are not actually comparable, otherwise the AFL or the NRL would win both. After all, it makes no sense for the AFL to get larger audiences for individual games yet not get a higher total count

They're comparable, but not as a measure of popularity when the schedules are so different

Simply adding up all the ratings is silly as a measure.

Yeah those people in regional areas just are'nt important enough to be counted apparently  . That's like saying lets not count people in regional Australia when voting in an election.

Is pretty much what he's saying. Only counting ratings which suits his own argument. Maybe you need to read it again.

How'd you come to that conclusion from what I wrote? My apologies if it come across that way but if you can show me where you thought I said that I will clarify or apologise as not what I was trying to convey.
