Oh dear... why do the FFA even bother with a NZ team?
You know the saying about a picture says a thousand words right? Take a look for yourself below... you be the judge. Is there even 10 fans at the game on the weekend?
The AFL for crying out loud gets much bigger crowds in NZ. Many thousands more in fact. lol

Now where did I say what you're suggesting? Just pointed out the fact that the crowds for AFL games in NZ have attracted thousands more fans.
Now, did you want to tell us all how many were in the crowd on the weekend. Have a look at the pics for an idea.
Once again you show yourself up to be the biggest idiot on this forum, and that is no mean feet.
The crowd was over 5000, now where did they play the game? You do know the team is from Wellington, and the game was played in Hamilton which is 400 km away.
See the A league has community rounds, where teams are allocated 1 game every 2 years that they must take to a regional area. Victory usually go to Geelong, City I think they play in Wodonga, Wanderers play in Campbeltown etc etc.
Wellington played in Hamilton 400 km away from their home stadium, oh by the way the AFL has given up playing games in NZ after it was a complete and utter failure.
So nice try beaussie but looks like you fucked up again

Fumble house didn't give up playing games in NZ, they were thrown out by Wellington council. Kiwis discovered the chest beating, self promoting fumblers had the ugliest game in professional sports and laughed them out of the country.
by the way beaussie, the premier domestic RUGBY competition in NZ averages less than Wellington get at A League games. In fact the game which you decried as being an example of how bad the A league is, and questioned Wellington about had more people than the average for the Mitre 10 cup. In fact the Wellington Phoenix had almost double the people 400 km away from their home base, than the Wellington Rugby team averaged this year in Wellington.
As we all know Rugby is the premier sport in NZ, yet the domestic competition, ie what the A league is, has a significantly higher crowd figures. So doesn't look like football is doing too badly in NZ.

Beaussie is a clueless fumbleball zealot. He should stick to what his job description here is - site admin - and let the more intellient, objective members here do the posting. If I was site administrator I'd bar him for being a fool in a public place.

You've got proof of that right? Thrown out by the council you say. FFS... you've got the hide to call me clueless.
I've been unable to verify the crowd figure hence the question in the title of this thread. I've seen it said elsewhere the actual crowd was much less than what you state. The pics I posted would have anyone assume there is less than 10-20 people in the crowd.

The pics I posted (from the actual Wellington Phoenix homepage) would have anyone assume there is less than 10-20 people in the crowd. Couldn't find the crowd figure mentioned anywhere on the official site of the Phoenix or A-League. I wonder why that is?

ST KILDA will not host an Anzac Day clash in Wellington next year after Wellington City Council pulled the pin on its AFL experiment."
How's that ya dill??????? So I stand correct - you're clueless!!!!!! For the sake of this site please stay away from posting - you are embarrassing yourself and the site. Fool!!!!!!

Oh dear, comparing your best competition against rugby's lowest competition. Why not compare Wellington Phoenix to Wellington Hurricanes crowds? Pathetic comes to mind when reading your BS.

So pulling the pin is thrown out of the place?
I note you conveniently left the following out too whilst posting no link.
The council cited a heavy schedule at the stadium as one of the reasons for its decision, with Elton John and AC/DC concerts already booked.

Because the A League is a domestic competition as is the Mitre 10 Cup. The Wellington Hurricanes play in a Transnational competition involving teams from Australia, NZ and South Africa you fucking moron. ie I was comparing LIKE with LIKE. Shouldn't be that hard to understand.
How do you even manage to dress yourself in the morning, your daily life must be such a struggle clearly you have a complete inability to reason beyond that of a 3 yr old.
