Could women make it in the AFL?
Hi folks,
Well, a serious question this time. With 40 year old fogys and rl players with no experience finding their way easily into starting lineups of AFL teams we have to ask the question. Could, or perhaps more appropriately when will, women make it into an AFL team.
I mean, look at the melbourne demons as a possible. They're desperate and could really benfiy from recruiting some of the nations top female marngrook players. Or alternatively they could get their scouts out to some of the rep female rl games. It'd be win win for the AFL and women's rights don't yas think??? :)

Or do we think it's perhaps a tad too soon?
In any case the recruitment of a few women in the next AFL expansion team is something the AFL must consider. I mean just think of the promo value :)

This could be a serious question so why post it in the fight club?
The simple answer is NO. Why , because, there will be a national women's league soon.

Kenyan women would go alright, yes aflsforpussies, you're right.
I personally think if you gave a month's kicking and handball practice to a mix of female long distance runners, sprinters and womens laungerie league players you'd have a team which'd thump the likes of Gdubbyaes
