it wouldn't have mattered if the Roosters had got their expected 23K crowd which is as many as would ever attend a week 2 final between these 2 in SydneySwans4ever wrote:Well KE why did the roosters only get 18k last night if your right in what you say?? Not even half the Swans crowd - I think it's more of a problem with the people living in Sydney - they might be scared considering the terror raids - after all they did threaten to bomb the MCG on GF day or behead someone in Martin Place. Crowds across the board in Sydney are way down!

whats wrong dont like the NRL going up against the AFL & getting a flogging every timeParraEelsNRL wrote:Pretty average all round, I have no idea why the sports in this country at this time of year don't work out some agreement if they happen to have codes from the same place playing in these big games on the same weekend. I'm no swans fan at all and the roosters are not my cup of tea either but everyone knows that that part of Sydney is weird, the supporters float around between Easts, swans and tahs. Putting games on at the same time from one side of Sydney to the other and making fans pick and choose is ridiculous in every way you could think from maximizing TV ratings to merchandise sales because more people can go to more games and spend their money while adding a better atmosphere all round because of bigger attendances.
That tweet is a perfect example, look what the Eastern Suburbs types are like, spend money to go to one sporting event and spend the game watching something else. I don't think you'd ever see this in any other part of the country.
Roosters Swans Waratah fans (that picture is funny on sooo many levels AFL fans) :>::
