Fiji NRL $4 Million Sponsorship

Vodafone Fiji has extended its sponsorship with the Fiji National Rugby League with a four-million dollar contract for the next three years.
The mobile service provider will sponsor all FNRL tournaments and events until 2017 as well as retain naming rights to the national team the bati.
The agreement was sealed this morning following hot on the heels of the Vodafone Fiji Bati defeat of Samoa at the Rugby League World Cup in Warrington early this morning.
Vodafone Managing Director, Aslam Khan says the win is an incredible feat and Vodafone Fiji is lucky to be associated with the champions.
FNRL chairman Peni Musunamasi applauded Vodafone for sticking with the Bati since 2006.
He says Vodafone came to the Bati’s aid seven years ago when they were thinking of withdrawing from the World Cup qualifiers due to lack of funds

Awww poor cos789, tries to have a crack at France too, but doesn't realise that the crowd the French had in Avignon was the largest the French national team has played in front of for over 40 years, but that's bad according to cos789.

I guess going from 10,000 participants in 2006 to 50,000 this year is stagnating too huh?

Hmmm, according to cos789, French RL is going backwards, but how can this be when for the last decade and a half, they haven't had the money to tour anywhere (senior national side) yet in 2015, they are touring New Zealand and have made plans to make the 4 nations in 2016 and this was all confirmed yesterday two days after their Rugby League World Cup campaign finished in one of the largest selling newspaper in France.

lequipe one of the biggest French sports magazines that hasn't touched RL in decades have been reporting about French RL lately, yet cos789 says it's going backwards.

From no tours, to tours and incoming Tests where no Tests had been for years with crowds up to 20,000 for the first time in near half a frigging century, but cos789 says the French Rugby League is going backwards

Yeah man, auskick fills two divisions of semi pro players from 18's up (that's 22 teams dickhead + one fully pro side in the ESL).
