Why does the AFL

Post by King-Eliagh »

think it owns the sport of Marngrook, otherwise innapropriately named as Australian Rules Footy?

I want answers folks, not sour grapes... Xman I'm looking at you now you sour bitter boy. Its just shocking. I saw some banner the other day calling for kids between under 8's to under 18s to "Play AFL" :puke: [-X [-X [-X

What is their go? I'm sorry but you cant play an organisation that runs the professional league. To me its shameless self promotion by an organisation happy to mislead the masses in order to get more money. Its greedy, outrageous and immoral and I'd doubt any other sporting organisation in the world is up to such blaringly shocking shenanigans.

As Xman would say, poor form.

For shame AFL, for shame [-X [-X [-X

No your dead right Xman. This cant be proven. Although as always I make a valid assumption, I think I could have been clearer in my post above.

The question should be why does the AFL put itself ABOVE and IN FRONT of the game of marngrook, or otherwise inappropriately named as Aussie rules footy? Why?

Why oh why would an organisation be so arrogant as to put it's own name in place of the game which feeds it? [-X [-X [-X

"Play AFL" they say! Again I dont think there's another sporting organisation in the world with the audacity to put themselves in front of the game. Please provide your answers to this interesting question folks... ... ... Why?

Ok whatever ya reckon Xman.

So I guess the AFL's fuckwit marketing ploy leads us to ask - do the AFL have the right to put themselves above the game in their marketing strategy? Is this ethical?

That's your opinion but we all know you're the most brainwashed... other AFL supporters seem to think its not cool. I'd like to know and discuss why.

"Play NRL" they say on nrl.com.au in the footer of the page.

http://nrl.com.au/PlayNRL/tabid/11267/Default.aspx

You could even play in the NRL backyard league. #-o

KE do you ever not sound like a know nothing hypocrite when it comes to AFL vs NRL issues? Serious question here and perhaps you can answer your own question posed above.
