Xman/Striker do we really need to wait 7 days for a decision on this one?
Raider was clearly posting more BS with his claim of 30k tickets for the NRL that would be supported by the papers today.

AFL fans lead NRL followers in tickets sales for big ANZ stadium finals weekend
THE AFL grabbed a decisive early lead over the NRL in the great cross-code ANZ Stadium preliminary finals ticket race.
Swans and Collingwood members had snapped up 21,000 tickets to Friday night's blockbuster by 6pm yesterday - 4000 more than the number sold to Saturday night's Rabbitohs and Bulldogs grand final qualifier.

Fair point. No evidence arrived today so clearly Dave was talking bs as usual. Striker? What's your take?Beaussie wrote:Xman/Striker do we really need to wait 7 days for a decision on this one?

I'd say Raider was estimating. Are we allowed to estimate in the FC?

he claimed an objective figure of over 30k. Therefore if the sales were anything over 30k he'd be correct, and anything under he's BSing.King-Eliagh wrote:I'd say Raider was estimating. Are we allowed to estimate in the FC?

Whatta bout the 'context' of his claim though? You looked into that yet?

There isn't any! Even if it was an estimate it was still way off the mark. How could 17K be anywhere near 30K?
Unless of course Raider is one of the counters at the gates of NRL games.......

You know Xman, 'the context' wink wink.
If you've forgotten look back to 90% (no thats not an exaggeration) of the cases where an AFL fan has defended his case against an NRL fan. hehehe
LOL LG. 17 could be near 30, its clearly a large percentage of 30. In fact if we were rounding up to 30's then 17 actually is 30. This type of argument is all set in the precedent of prior BS files.
Thankyou.

Oh what a lot of rot! If you rounded 17 up (assuming that the rounding is in tens) it would be 20, not 30! Heck if it was in fives it would be rounded DOWN!!
17 is nowhere near 30. Basic maths. That's like saying 17,000 is close to 30,000!

people who make objective quantifiable claims are judged according to that claim. If you have evidence to the contrary youve done a piss poor job of showing it.

Re: BS file#37: over 30,000 tickets snapped up by just the m
El, that didn't help at all. TL is right. 17 only just over half of 30, and Raid did say more than 30; not just 30. So the claim of it being an estimate is so far out of whack it should be criminal.
I see from the number of BS points already that Raid has a rep for this. I can see why!
My take, X, is that Raid should get a BS point for this one. I'm tempted to recommend a dumbarse point to go with it but I won't.
