NRL to have biggest prelim final crowd this week

Post by Raiderdave »

of either code

wow
what an achievement

when has this ever happened before ? :-k

the Bulldogs & South Sydney will do this ... & not just .. but easily :\: :\: :\:

Souths first prelim final since 1968 .. so their fans will litterally come out of the woodwork from everywhere ... up against the Bulldogs with one of the largest supporter bases in the game....
80,000 plus for sure

Sydney will be abuzz ... its back to the glory days
Sydney will celebrate a piece of its past this week & nothing else will take the gloss off or attention from this all Sydney prelim final .... nothing

it will attract 800K veiwers in Sydney alone on TV ... & probably that much again in regional NSW & QLD where the bunnies have massive support.

anything else going on in Sydney this week ? :-k

no ?

yep I can't think of anything ..............carry on
RL SOO II 4.194 Million veiwers
RL SOO I 4.068 Million
NRL GF 3.968 Million
VFL Grand Final 3.620 Million
SOO III 3.364 Million
NRL Prelim 2.219 Million
Kangaroos V NZ 1.214 Million

Sookerwhos V Japan 238K

Imagine if Raiderdave supported the AFL this is what I would imagine he would say if the NRL got a 800K in Sydney viewing the game and 80 K + at the game. "Thats just fantasy. The 800K watching in Sydney is more then a 30% increase on last year and couldn't possibly be accurate. No competition could have such an increse in viewers. The crowd numbers are totally inaccurate because lets face it I spent an hour with my TV set paused counting every individual supporter in the crowd and I came up with a crowd of about 15,223. Oztam and ANZ stadium must be recieving money under the table from those NRL creating scum. Shame. The NRL is dying

So your saying 80k from 2 of the biggest Sydney NRL teams? Nice

Well I'd say hawthorn will get 65k and Sydney will get 55k

Who will get the biggest total for the round?

Who will get the biggest total for the finals?

One big game of NRL just proves how pathetic their usual attendances are!

Both games in Sydney are at ANZ. I'm not going to make a prediction, but the Doggies and the Bunnies should yank a huge crowd. I think it'll be close.

Given its 2 of Sydney's largest NRL clubs v a locl AFL club and an interstate AFL club, and in NRL heartland, the NRL "should" win easily. It will be interesting to see the result.

Should is right. The Bunnies supporters are good for a big crowd, and the Doggies have the highest average of the Sydney NRL clubs.

That's why the Storm should be playing those games at Etihad and not AAMI Park. 25,000 is the capacity of AAMI Park.

Dont mean to be smart striker but the AFL takes ownership of etihad most likely at the end of the current broadcast deal. Dont think we are going to see much league on there ever again
