Just saying ... what if? And good businesses have contingency plans for differing scenarios. So 5 to 8 would be something to build a little niche market around... place it in a regional area ... such as I suggested the nrl do in Victoria .... and maybe it could be a goer. Then take the rest of what I put forward .

This is why the AFL are the biggest sporting organisation in this country .... they look forward ... plan for success and whilst that success may not always come the rewards are great when they do.

They may have a new ground (I did not know this ... where is it ? But the AFL I guess have identified it as possibly not meeting future needs. As I mentioned earlier, the AFL may be positioning th mselces to get the men's training facility set up at the same new venue and also use it for small games (aflw) and preseason games ... but I suspect a push to get the training facility for the men. All it would take is a small grandstand to hold 4 to 5 thousand and rest standing room or a hill. But the training facility is where the money savings come in as I think they are crap at the Gabba and rent is high.

It has a 3 k capacity ...yet apparently they can fit 5.5 k in easily with room to have MACK Truck races behind the one or two deep crowd at the fence .

Well again, what I posted still stands re: the AFL maybe wanting a training ground as well for the men's team. I posted a whole heap of other stuff as well as to possibly why including future planning, men's training , spreading the game, getting regional support etc etc,

Also ...3 to 4 games now .... in the future ... in as planning for the future .... maybe 10?

yor missing the point, as well you some how think the NRLOL is entitled to every sent from the government and its well worth it regardless of the case & the AFL isnt.

you have had several mental rants about this in the past.

townsville are some how entitled to a brand new $250 million dollar venue when their old one built in 1994 is fine & just basic upgrades isnt good enough

or the new $300 million stadium in parramatta for an extra 6k whole seats is well worth it for a stadium that was built in the late 80s & has had regular up grades.

both grounds their current NRLOL tenants can only half fill on average you can justify this, but not a few million for the AFL\

of the simple fact Perth & Adelaide got new venues, Not club grounds, new venues that are the only major stadium in the cities first their first oval shaped venue built since early 1900s & 1970!

its a case you are jealous, bitter & clearly letting that get in your way

he ignore all the other relevant information & possibilities about the new ladies venue, considering the league is only NSW & in general AFL for woman hasnt been around that long.

he has issues with any money the AFL receives from the governments, despite that nearly all NRL teams still have club grounds, paid for by the tax payer as well as their major venues paid for by the tax payer
