Heaps better tv ratings than soccer in NSW. You can't deny that.

No proof at all, both codes seem to get around the same in NSW and your lot have FTA TV and soccer don't.

Dear Fred,
Less spacing please. Looks silly.

Peace and goodwill.

The fact you see AFL grounds so reguarly shows the spread of AFL. Try finding a rl ground in victoria ?
Fredo, Fredo, Fredo I hate to break this news to ya pal but the fumblers have a strategic investment policy in NSW and Qld. It includes bribing local councils, schools and anyone else open to easy money to put in a set of fumbling posts. You know the ones - two posts for an actual score and two for a miss. They particularly look to put them on main roads or thoroughfares for more visual hits.

The fumblers pay for the installation and deliver free schools and auskick programmes to whoever signs up. It is all about symbolism and trying to normalise fumbleball where it is foreign. It is marketing and perception 101 versus reality. Most of the posts never have the fumbling game played there. It's like 1930's Joseph Goebbels propaganda. Tell the big lie and stick to it.

Unsurprisingly it fools dills like you who drive around counting the posts thinking how great fumbleball is going. They call it confirmation bias - you've got it bad pal. You really need to try and break free Fredo. The great God fumble is playing with your mind - well whatever it is you've got under ya hat ya poor bugger!!!!

1. I just made an observation on someone else's post.

2. The grounds I see in qld all have a club associated with them. I have yet to see an AFL ground without a club in qld apart from school ovals maybe.

3. I have read of the work the AFL has done in the west of Sydney. This being long before placing GWS there in that they worked with developers in the planning phases on putting AFL grounds in their estates etc. and also of the work they do in schools. Sounds very business savvy to me. If only the NRL did something at grassroots prior to the storm coming to Victoria the game may have had some decent grassroots akin to what Australian rules football does in nsw.

4. A quick search of a few AFL junior clubs in western Sydney league. More there than junior rl clubs in Victoria, tassie, and south Australia...possibly combined. http://aflsj.com.au/register/western-sydney/

Jeolous much, dont worry theres no chance of the NRL doing the same in Victoria, they dont have the balls. So I guess while you keep getting upset about what the AFL does in Sydney, the NRL will continue to be confined to 2 states.

Two states? When since has NRL clubs New Zealand and Melbourne been been part of NSW and Qld? Go and learn some geography you halfwit.

Meanwhile we will all continue to laugh at AFL failing in NZ with it's exhibition matches and not being able to have a team outside Australia.

1st NZ is not part of Australia and 1 team out of 16 being in a diffeent state doesnt make the game extending its reach outside of the 2 states 14 other clubs reside. Ffs its the AFL and it represents Australia, the NRL is national in name only.
