the poll isnt rigged. I dont even know how.

It may include occasional posters on this site, hence the greater numbers, but this is reasonable.

The decision stands.

I noticed people incorrectly stated "********" was a "racist" term. Discriminatory may have been the better word to use here but clearly this flew right over the top of some of our AFL supporters noggins. In any case, just for a laugh, NSW can you provide 'legal' evidence that ******* is a racist term? And do you think the Australian legal institution is the best place to go looking for what might be considered racist and what not? Terra Nullius anyone? Only took the legal system 200 years to realise this was term was based on racist views.

Almost anything that references or distinguishes people is a racist term.
But it is not a racial abuse term until used in a derogatory manner.
A "native" is a native of a country pure and simple.
"you're acting like a native" could be seen as a racist slur but observing that
some natives in a park appear to be drinking is not.
A word like "****" is unambiguously racial abuse since it referes to a group of people in a negative way.
Some words like "black" or "********" were borderline acceptable but are now clearly unacceptable.
Apart from uneducated, you sir are a closet racist. Comon outta dat closet there cos and announce proudly to the world what you are. Xman, I expect you and NSWAFL to follow suit outta dat closet.

A simple read between the lines says it all. The bias stench is vile and suffocating.

I cant control which sides posters vote.

If a heap of occasional RL fans voted the result may be the other way.
Fact is, of all the people who vote on the poll the far greater majority dont want the term used here.

Sorry guys. You may think its funny. The majority dont!

How would you suggest I control it?

And while im on this matter, lets speak once more about your moderating. As you suggested you would you are now welcome to delete AFL 'Warriors' racist post. It is within the recent thread "'AFL Warrior is back in sydney'". You should have clear details within the two reports I sent you so I find it strange you dont refer to these...

I'd suggest as Raider suggests. That active members are involved in the process, so it is less easy for members to swamp the poll with 'ringins'. Those members can vote but it is awful strage. the other prob you'll have is members with several nicnames. This ones tougher but I know beaussie and mods can look into this.

I deleted the reports after investigating the issue and not finding it personally offensive and only slightly racial IMO.

Gotta say Im staggered you are fighting so hard just to use a term against me personally that I have said I find very offensive. It doesnt just target me, it targets all my kids, my wife, my family, my freinds, whether they are passionate AFL supporters or even hate the game.

I find it disturbing you are so upset you are losing the right to be so abusive!

I don't think E has ever used the term , so you'd better retract that straight away
its your methods , your abuse of power.. your obvious bias ... which concerns him & all of us

it would appear we've found another one not fit to moderate
to be a moderator
you must have a moderate approach to all posters ... not just to the AFL ones in here

you are flying in the face of the admins own veiw of this site
that it is NOT an AFL site .. it is a site for all followers of all codes
