Also according to Central Districts own website, they have NO presence at Womma Park. All their games are played at Spruance Oval, already established as a soccer ground.

I have edited the entry on Google Maps and it is now being reviewed. I noted also on the SA Rugby page that the competition has been around since 1932. The SARL in it's current form was created in 1976. Between those two codes it's clear that RU is more popular that RL. Of course AFL thrashes both of them.

You dumb bastard, so you are suggesting there are no RL fields in SA, but you are also suggesting that the SARL was established in 1976. So you have now admitted that there is indeed RL played in SA. This thread was not about a popularity contest, as I know SA is a AFL state, I am happy to admit that, unfortunately you deluded idiots can't except that rugby league is still played in that state, even when you are posting things up that support my arguement. Well Done 8-[

Twist your crap as much as you like, there are fields used to play RL in SA. Game over

Then show us the grounds where RL is the sole season (April to September) resident. If you can not, then there are no RL fields in Adelaide. They are RU fields at best, otherwise soccer fields and AFL grounds. If you were playing a game, you lose.

Rugby League has a lying culture. Altering crowd figures, relying on inaccurate TV figures from regional NSW and refusing to distance itself from Leagues Clubs and obtain it's own club memberships as it relies on LC's to survive as private entities.

A lesson for you, Raider - for any other sport to be played at the MCG (or anything for that matter - like rock concerts) during the AFL season, permission is needed from the AFL as well as the MCC. That's the right of the resident!

So stop talking about stuff you don't get.

Needed to be said (again). Good research work, Topper, although don't be surprised if Google give you static. They are a law unto themselves.

BS... the AFL is a tennent of the MCC... the Melbourne Cricket Club
the only permission needed to play a game or hold an event on the MCG is from the MCC .... the AFL is barely consulted
do not spread your lies around here

as per tipsy's stupid comparison
the MCG is not an AFL ground ............ he's struck again has ol tipsy

You are lying, Raider. The AFL is always consulted between March and September on what is offered at the MCG. It's part of their agreement with the MCC. The MCC do not use the MCG outside of the cricket season, so during the football season it is an AFL ground first and foremost. So again - stop talking out of your arse (and again it needed to be said).

Thank you for the warning, TLPG. If they want more information I am sure I can link them as I have done to Dogs, and they unlike him will listen and understand. And please don't answer the burp machine. It just feeds it carbonated liquid so it keeps on going.

As I recall it, the MCC wanted the grand final at the MCG and nowhere else and as a part of this they have to work with the AFL. It's why Waverley Park was never fully completed and ended up being closed.
