Also according to Central Districts own website, they have NO presence at Womma Park. All their games are played at Spruance Oval, already established as a soccer ground.
I have edited the entry on Google Maps and it is now being reviewed. I noted also on the SA Rugby page that the competition has been around since 1932. The SARL in it's current form was created in 1976. Between those two codes it's clear that RU is more popular that RL. Of course AFL thrashes both of them.

BS... the AFL is a tennent of the MCC... the Melbourne Cricket ClubTLPG wrote:A lesson for you, Raider - for any other sport to be played at the MCG (or anything for that matter - like rock concerts) during the AFL season, permission is needed from the AFL as well as the MCC. That's the right of the resident!
So stop talking about stuff you don't get.
Needed to be said (again). Good research work, Topper, although don't be surprised if Google give you static. They are a law unto themselves.
TLPG wrote:You are lying, Raider. The AFL is always consulted between March and September on what is offered at the MCG. It's part of their agreement with the MCC. The MCC do not use the MCG outside of the cricket season, so during the football season it is an AFL ground first and foremost. So again - stop talking out of your arse (and again it needed to be said).
phhtt.. it was the AFL that wanted it at the MCG ... & no where else ...Topper wrote:As I recall it, the MCC wanted the grand final at the MCG and nowhere else and as a part of this they have to work with the AFL. It's why Waverley Park was never fully completed and ended up being closed.
