I have no idea and I'm not that interested because the Western Bulldogs are not playing that day in Wellington. It's the Saints and Brisbane if I remember.

Just to hopefully bring some sense to this thread. The only way to work out which is more expensive/cheaper is to add all the crowds for the year and what the takings are and do that for both games and then work out an average. I don't know if those numbers are available or if anyone has the inclination to do it anyway.

I would think it would be possible, but very time consuming.

The other way would simply be to quote prices.

Maybe crackpot could quote prices for AF in NZ.

And then predict the crowds down to who pays what price?

There is something wrong with you without a doubt.

The only way that would work is every game was sold out. You have no way of knowing by prices quoted for the different tickets in a venue how many of each where sold. It could be that all the cheap ones where sold and few of the more expensive or vice versa or any other combination. So just quoting the ticket prices doesn't tell you anything except there is a range of ticketing prices available.

and thats why the AFL revenue shits all over the NRL revenue (outside the broadcast revenue, which the AFL still wins in)
AFL clubs revenue shits all over NRL clubs ( when i mean club revenue i dont mean poke revenue)

Take away the poker machine revenue from the AFL clubs, and then make a comparison. Not before.

I'm pretty sure that the AFL doesn't include revenue from pokies in NZ AFL.

Can you point out which AFL club is based in NZ.
Better still ,show me any club outside OZ that plays in an AFL comp in AUS.

Your NZ international obsession has fucked whats left of your rotting brain.

the larger AFL clubs Essendon collingwoods, still make 50 million plus revenue from just football revenue. sponsorship, membership & beverage and gate takings from games

many smaller clubs carltons, hawthorns geelong to 40million plus. the AFL clubs annual reports are there for every one to see.
the NRL clubs are not asie from a few
http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/leag ... 2swhv.html
has been probarbly the best indication on how the NRL clubs are traveling. it has a quick guide to the clubs revenu. Nearly every club aside from the broncos they half of what the smaller AFL clubs do

It is certainly not as XMAN has tried to position it in Brisbane. I just took a look for the cheapest seats for both codes and attended both QLD NRL games, where GA tickets were $37 at the gate.

AFL Next Game
Family - 2 Adults & 2 Juniors(Select 4 Seats in Total) (Multiples of 4)
AU $18.50 ( + FeesAdditional TaxesFees/Additional Taxes)

NRL next game
Early Bird - Family (1Adult + 1Junior) (Admits 2) $33.00

Dogs it may be prudent to note that those two prices do not compare because one needs to be multiplied by four and the other by just two.
