Nic Nat would have Inglis covered on agility easily and probabaly on speed as well, despite being about 5 cm taller. Nic Nat would also have Inglis covered on Vertical leap by a big margin.

As I said, put some of your overweight forwards on next time and lets see how they fair. The show favours smaller leaner athletes and they've done better every year.
why would we do that ?
you said your blokes were too big ..... I said park em along side Inglis .. hes big
would they go any better ?

Buddy Franklin, Nick Nat, and many others would easily eclipse Inlish. quote]
they wouldn't get near him
they are slow plodders too

Speed/100metre sprint: Inglis by 1.5-2.5 seconds
Strength/any test: Inglis by a country mile. The comparison between a lion and a domestic cat would be appropriate here
Agility/sideways movement test + other agility tests: A little closer but Inglis comfortably
Skill: difficult to test as the skills required are quite different for both sports. Gotta be fair and say equal here. they're all at the top of their respective sports for a reason.
I've seen a lot of both codes and am very confident of the above assessment. Very confident.

the delusion in VFL fans is astounding
barney rubble V inglis

Agility easily? Ummm i dont know what your idea of agility is but here's a good description
Agility or nimbleness is the ability to change the body's position efficiently, and requires the integration of isolated movement skills using a combination of balance, coordination, speed, reflexes, strength and endurance.Agility is the ability to change the direction of the body in an efficient and effective manner and to achieve this you require a combination of:
Balance The ability to maintain equilibrium when stationary or moving (i.e. not to fall over) through the coordinated actions of our sensory functions (eyes, ears and the proprioceptive organs in our joints), Static Balance - ability to retain the centre of mass above the base of support in a stationary position, Dynamic Balance - ability to maintain balance with body movement, Speed - the ability to move all or part of the body quickly, Strength - the ability of a muscle or muscle group to overcome a resistance, Co-ordination - the ability to control the movement of the body in co-operation with the body's sensory functions e.g. catching a ball (ball, hand and eye co-ordination).
Ok
Balance: Inglis is a superb physical specimen compared to natanui who is really a beanpole. Great athlete but his balance could be knocked off centre with ease compared to Inglis.
Speed Inglis easy.
Strength Inglis easy
Coordination see balance
I'll give nic nat his vertical leap. But thats only one example of power. All the other examples Inglis would overpower nat any day.
Again I'm very confident of my assessment here, having watch both players plenty

by two New South Welshmen, Australians living in a country that was to be called Australia.
These two New South Welshmen rejected private school Cambridge rules and private school Rugby rules and developed Australia's unique and spectatcular game of football.
Indeed it was called football - even in NSW and Qld where they established football leagues.

Interesting how Dave has ignored my point about 2 big RU and RL players coming last and 3rd last in the rexona challenge.

Nic Naitanui
Nic Naitanui the fourth fastest AFL player who can gain the sprint running speed in the time of 25.10 seconds. He is included as a footballer in the Swan District. Everyone seems to be impressed by the performance of this man on the field.

I got no idea what this really means but Nic Nat is very fast in terms of acceleration. He often taps the ball down and is suddenly moving at almost top speed. Ive seen Inglis move and he is good but in my opinion Nic Nat is better from a standing start in terms of speed. His agility is excellent as well.

Quick off the mark is ok. But it's not raw speed. I still think Inglis would have him for that. But prob closer than i initially though, thanks pies.

You might be right with the 100 metres Inglis is fairly quick, Nic Nat might get him off 30 metres I would love to see this race now. Aglitiy would be interesting, at the AFL draft they have a test where players run around cones and they record the quickest speeds and call it the agility test. I think this would be a good way to test this. Inglis is extremely agile for such a big man and I would say that Nic Nat is similar to this. Being a little lighter may be a slight advantage for NIc Nat in terms of agility but his extra height would hinder him. I think Nic is about 100 kg. What is Inglis about 105kg?
