Seems like they're talking about izzy in the second part of the second quote there. I've got no problem with izzy who had the integrity to tough it out in the lower divisions. He's trained hard and may be yet another example of the physical and skillful superiority of RL players. As ive said a thousand times before, you dont see converts the other way round, they simply would never cut the mustard.
As for Khunt "starting to develop" sounds right. That's a normal description for a ten year old who's been playing a few seasons. Now do we need to highlight Khunts woeful stats last year once more to show you clowns where he's really at?

Of course we don't need to acknowledge his poor stats last year. He was unfit and played out of position. It takes more than 1 year of ARs to develop the fitness to play at the AFL level.

So did the coaches make a mistake putting him in the defensive line? I notice you've taken the coaches words like the bible on Khunts improvement and skills. Maybe that silly coach and the experts will be wrong again Xman?

I would say they didn't know his game well enough until they worked with him and observed his strengths and weaknesses for at least a season. That is hardly surprising given recruits usually come through junior competitions where they will have already found their best positions that suite their skill sets. KHunt isn't as clear cut as Izzy. They took half a season to find the correct position for Izzy, in the forward line as a key forward. KHunt is an in between size and could have played in a number of positions. He would have been played in the midfield earlier but his lack of conditioning didn't allow it until this year.
Thus endeth another lesson.

IMO the coaches were subject to prejudical thinking.
He's a rl player, so he must be good defensively.
So that could be a valid criticism, but now it's a bonus that two players can move up forward..
Folau has the potential to be a Pavlich.

Yes cos Folau has potential because he's got the right attitude, worked hard in the lower division and has more skill and ability than the Khunt. The Khunt will fail miserably and really the AFL shouldve picked this up from the moment he signed a contract to play in the top league without preparing himself properly in the lower division. Woeful character. His performance reflects this yet the AFL's treatment of him doesnt. Its woeful all round really.

Seems like those in the know thought KHunt's performance was a "very impressive display".
Hunt spent most of his time in his first AFL season last year playing in defence for the Suns but he looks set for a role in the midfield in year No. 2. He bustled his way through packs, got on his knees to do the dirty work and dished it off to his teammates in a very impressive display.
He finished with 16 possessions, 10 of which came in the first half alone to build on the impressive form he showed against Geelong last week.

16 posessions in the mids during a preseason game is nothing to be 'impressed' about. Dumb people like the clown talking above have set very low standards for the multimillionnaire Khunt and are 'impressed' when he manages to get a handball away (usually a rather poor one). The standards people should be setting should be at the level of the AFL. If he's not good enough get him outta there into the lower divisions, where he belongs. This experiment is just lowering the standard of footy, nothing more nothing less.
Now let us check his performance at round 6.

I dont understand this dream team points system but equal 12th in a pack of predominantly no hopers is no great feat Xman. And not worth a million shmackas a season. I didnt watch the match but the highlights reel showed nothing of the khunt, as usual.

I'm just updating his performance compared to his teammate. You seem to think he isn't worthy of a place in their team. But if he performs better than other players on their list he clearly does. We agreed by round6. This is just an update.

I just looked up his round 2 stats but couldnt find the player by player comparison.
Not that I really understand the numbers but by the looks of things round 2 looks like a turn for the worse for Khunt

Out of a starting lineup of 22. And he's fallen from 12th. :D
