but this is not correct
the Warriors one in 2010 got 22K .... unofficially ... but sources say the police had to close the gates

they don't need to go back .. they've played a dozen trials there since 1995 ... they play one there every few years
the locals can't get enough
as the attendances prove

plenty of presence anyway for the NRL in cairns .... trials were plenty enough for the locals

Really? Why don't they go to the games then? Other things to do? Traffic? Poor stadium? Any other crap excuse they use for poor attendances in Sydney. Well they don't work in Cairns the AFL outdrew the NRL for their last games on an even playing field.
