People like a winner, but in an 18 team comp success is hard, especially when Sydney teams are given unfair advantages to make finals every year. Enjoy crowds while you can.

Crowds have been reasonably good over the period of poor performance. I think that is the real measure. Having that solid base. And the strong grassroots for Australian Rules in SE QLD is also a great measure. Nothing like winning though to bring in the crowds. If Brisbane get 5% coming on board with zeal and passion - converts - then it is a win.

They were 13 million in debt & bailed out by anglofl - that was after 3 premierships. Maybe there will be a bigger drop off this time.

Exactly it’s only taken a dozen or so games of the lions winning to be up there with the broncos who have had 30 years of success!
