How big is the percentage for any game of any sport played anywhere for the fans of that team?
Silly bloody question

Parra I have said time and time again tv ratings are just one indicator (and perhaps a very accurate one!) there are other indicators as well
Average crowds - people actually willing to come to your match
Memberships - people actually willing to put hands in pockets
Merchandising - people actually willing to wear your gear and pay for it
Sponsorship - business willing to part with coin to be associated with your club
Total football related revenue - how well all the above affects your club
The above are even more important indicators - why because anyone can switch on a TV for free (that's was pay is most prob more relevant indicator and I would concede that favours RL) now parramatta from what I have seen sits well in these categories - only the Snot Greens fail and fail Badly in every one of these respects - but the Swans tick all these boxes and OVERALL this is what makes them number one in NSW.

yes parra
if the NRL had another 14 FTA games a season that the VFL has .. they have 92 ... we have 78
& an extra 7 games in total to match the VFL's number of 199.. 4 of them would be FTA too
then I think the NRL gets them by a million or 2
add our rep games
& its embarrassing for the fumblers
just .. plain .... embarrassing with us winning by nearly 20 million veiwers
now to pop a cherry on that cream cake
put all our games on pay just like them
its 25 Million !!

the difference is dribble dick, channel 9 pick their games and show them in prime time for the best ratings possible. & usuanly only have 1 game being played at a time
the AFL controls its schedule, many games games over lap each other being played at similar times as each other many being played and shown in after noons. unlike the NRL
so what ever excuse you want to make up, the NRL looses, even when all its rep & SOO games added in to it,
for the few thousand rating boxes across the country, that you basement dwellers live by.
the AFL has many other factors to back up the strong ratings
crowds, membership, sponsorship, football revenue.
what else does the NRL have poke revenue?

Obviously you read the first word and assume the rest from there - but what do you expect when you are highly medicated like you are - please crapper seek help you have lost it!

Australia vs Netherlands was watched by 5.6 million Americans alone
and many millions more around the world, probably 5 times the American figure, would of watched us play too, in all our group games.
So a state of Origin rating of 4 million is insignificant in comparison, miniscule really.
