yes ... an extra 4 million a year from the new TV money from 2013
an extra 1 million a year from the development owners of the retail project to be built next to shark park .. when they buy the leagues club car park
&
as Dave Gallop said .. no one will fold under my watch ... so the NRL will likely make sure they stay above water in 2012

& from 2013 onward

in the black ...

If they don't get a CEO now, 2012, they're gone.

Hahaha, so you admit, they will have no chief executive for season 2012 and are relying on tv money in 2013 in order to pay for a chief executive.

They're well and truly fucked. :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/

Last I heard that deal looks to have fallen through with the local MP not even supporting it. Fucked again. :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/

Blind faith in the News Ltd lackey. Ask Souths how much you can trust what News Ltd representatives say.

Hahaha, gotta get through 2012 without a sponsor, very little tv coverage, no money and no chief executive.

Future looks bright down in the Shire. NOT :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/

Relying on over inflated tv money yet to be negotiated yet alone materialise and a project that doesn't even have the local MP or State Government's support. Only in the NRL. :(/ :(/ :(/

16 NRL clubs in the black from 2013
18 from 2015

meanwhile

the AFL will have a dozen who won't know what black looks like on a ledger
better send the receptionist down to office works for some more red pens ....

18? Are you sure about that?

http://www.sportsnewsfirst.com.au/artic ... ff-gallop/

LEAGUE boss David Gallop has declared that the NRL bid teams still have plenty of work to do before a decision is made on who will enter the competition in 2015.
While most bidders are pushing for a 2013 inclusion, Gallop said no one will be considered until the new television rights deal is sewn up and some key indicators are met by potential clubs with Gallop weary of not “stretching the pie.”

“You need to be doing two things - you need to have a business model which is going to work long term and you also need to be bringing something to the table that the whole game benefits from.

"I’m not sure that we’re quite there with any of the potential bid teams at the moment.
Seems like he's already making excuses! :\:

Maybe the NRL will only have 15 clubs with the Storm leeking money like a seive, and News Ltd's involvement in the game all but ending.

Maybe the NRL will only have 14 clubs when Cronulla dissolve, since they can't even afford a CEO.

Maybe the NRL will only have 13 clubs if the Raiders can't find a major sponsor after a few years.

Maybe they will only have 12 clubs when the pathetic panthers finally die off............... :-({|=

as sure as

Gallop won't make the decision anyway ... the new ARLC will
& indications are they favour heavily .. a 2015 increase in teams

it will happen in 2015

the Perth Reds
& Brisbane Bombers

That's a distant dream. If it goes ahead it will only compensate for the loss of some of your other dying clubs.

I notice you haven't posted in the Storm thread. They are rooted!

While you're dreaming about fake wins, have a look at Beaussie's thread on the storm. They're stuffed.

In your dreams, Dave. You lot have to have a massive increase in turnover for that to happen, and the TV deal is not included in that. Never mind that the TV deal won't attract as much as the NRL thinks it will.
