I suppose if your gunna play tournaments and WC all year round yep you win - so for playing games all year long you take the satisfaction of victory - yet for just the AFL season we still get more in Australia from TV rights, yet we still have about 530,000 more people willing to put the hands in their pockets and support their clubs by being members, we still have an AFL side the biggest club in NSW, we still generate the most sponsorship per club, still have more than double in crowds, still get about 150mil extra in total revenue per year and still have greater participation Australia wide!! So yeah be happy about winning tv ratings it's really put RL on the map!!!!! Hahahaha

meh at the end of the 2013 season, it was reported the AFL had a rise in ratings while the NRL had a drop
so basically what you are trying to say is the NRL has slipped further behind it funny because the NRL let channel 9 pick their schedule for their games & all 9 are after are ratings

if all the rep gamed and SOO be taken out of that final figure the NRL would be further behind that what that final figure is?

And RL has under half the games of the AFL on FTA with only 1 live a week, I think you idiots should just shut up, you are looking pathetic seeing as RL out here wins yet ch9 is still living in the 19th century in regards to sports broadcasting.

if the NRL had another 14 FTA games a season that the VFL has .. they have 92 ... we have 78
& an extra 7 games in total to match the VFL's number of 199.. 4 of them would be FTA too

then I think the NRL gets them by a million or 2

add our rep games
& its embarrassing for the fumblers
just .. plain .... embarrassing with us winning by nearly 20 million veiwers
now to pop a cherry on that cream cake
put all our games on pay just like them
