All Hird specified is a cutting edge program using safe and compliant substances.

Folks keep your distance. This blokes got the worst case of goldenboyitis I've ever seen!
But back to the serious real debate. I think this lil piccie sums up why the AFL should not be so loose an institution as it is.
He ... just ... didn't know ... .... how to do his job :_<>
Again youre lost. The club doctor permitted the use of AOD, believing it WADA compliant himself
Seriously, give it up. Youre clueless

Ahh I see you're kinda torn between answers (a) and (c).

So the doctor permitted the use of AOD and hirdy boy either a (a) didn't know what it was or (b)totally legit.
And the AFL employed this knob as the top coach of one of its biggest clubs?

Loooooose as!!

Whats this even got to do with Hird? He left the program to Dank, Robinson and Reid.

Comon Xman! Get with the program.
If you had have read the link in the OP you may have understood what I was going on about and not made a fool of yourself defending both hirdy and the shonky loose as business of the AFL
I've tried to minimise the reading for you as im well aware its not your strong point, reading. Here's some quotes in the link I provided. Alistair Clarkson, a respected professional premiership winning coach, knows the AFL is loose as! :_<>
He has outlined details of his recommendations put to the AFL Coaches Association and has said it was the role of the AFL to put these regulations in place.
"We need to ensure [the supplements scandal] never happens in our game again. It's too easy to sweep it under the carpet and hope it's never going to happen again," Clarkson told Fairfax Media.
"Next time it could be illicit drugs or young girls in night clubs. It comes down to having the right systems and protocols in place.
"’Hirdy' (Essendon coach James Hird) needs accreditation to coach under-nines but not an AFL footy team. It really concerns me that the game doesn't protect itself in the way, say, the teaching industry does."

Funny about Clarkson. He said this the following day:
"It's not so much about Essendon or James Hird - it's that being used as an illustration of how an issue ambushed our game, in a sense," Clarkson said.

Yes I agree, its not so much about Essendon or hirdy, im just having a laugh at those poor sods, and you xman
No Clarkson is correct, its about the whole AFL institution and its lack of structured policy, protocols and procedures. Again, as I said in my OP Xman ya confusd buffoon!
we need to illustrate the deeper point ... how do we better prepare our coaches in footy clubs to do things better?"..."Had we had some measures in place, that could have been a little bit stronger in terms of the preparation of a coach ... then maybe we'd all be in a better position to have more chance of success and stay in our roles.
"It is (an issue) that really brought to attention just how significant is the role of a coach and a football department in shaping the lives of young men.
"We need to look at how we can do things better."
Clarkson wants a combination of an accreditation system and more experience for coaches before they take senior AFL jobs.

Yes we need to illustrate the deeper point and fact of the matter is Xman...the AFL is as LOOOOOOSE as! :_<> And poor hirdy and the bombers copped it, not their fault, but jeez they are clearly a pack of dumb cheats so they deserve everything they got

But the deeper issue as Clarkson says is yes, the AFL needs to get its fukkin act together so creeps like hird and his co-bombers staff don't ruin the rep of the game again!

And the NRL permitted players to be injected with horse PEDs. Why aren't you even more scathing on this mess up ?

How about you bring it up for a little balance since what Cronulla did appears much worse

He can't. It's beyond his childish mind to admit that Cronulla did anything wrong. That's why he's an NRL apologist. At least we'll admit that Essendon did do wrong (and got punished for it by the AFL), which is more than what Eliagh will do for Cronulla!

As far as Im aware Cronulla have not confessed to any wrong doing, nor have they been proven guilty. Therefore as per the law of the land you two chumps live on, Cronulla are innocent.
Essendon and the AFL on the other hand?
LooooooOOOOOOOOoooooossseeeee AS BRO!
