The recent H&A nrl crowds aren't up to VFL standards. probably around SANFL standards and soon to be overtaken by the WAFL.

Home and away season compared to a once a year event over 3 games. ? Bit different . Are you saying that AFL doesn't draw large crowds outside Melbourne yet nrl consistently gets good crowds ... ???

But isn't SOO rep footy and isn't NRL the main RL club competition of the ARL? Clearly they are two different things! I agree SOO for THREE games a year is well attended and rated. However NRL (which is the title of the thread not the ARL) has crap crowds and the Swans are the LARGEST club of ANY code in Sydney - the largest average crowd, the largest budget, the largest membership 36000 and the most sponsored!

Your point about SOO is not relevant as this is state rep footy not club footy!
